We have lived at wakefield glen for almost 3 years. Although our first few months were a little rocky with the new management company, we really have no major complaints. The staff is great and always attentive to our work orders. Our rates have increased some but nothing major. Overall its been a good experience.

    I have lived here for two years now and overall satisfied given the deal I got and other rent prices in the area. I feel safe living here and I love being close to school, YMCA, and stores. The apartment is a nice size but there is no storage without renting another unit which becomes a downfall. The flooring in my kitchen and bathroom regularly sticks up and several people including myself and my daughter have tripped over it. It was looked at but they said it wasn't bad enough to replace, yet we keep tripping and I even cut my foot a little once. My only other complaint is the residents that ruin the pool in the summer for those of us who comply with the rules. The key fob that we were made to purchase to access the gym and bathrooms was $25 and not refundable which I find ridiculous if I turn it back in when I leave.

      My husband lived at this complex before we got married and then we moved into a different apartment after we got married. We have enjoyed our time here. The communication from the office is very speedy and they make sure that they give top notch service. Just wish that there was a small dog park for the animals in the complex. The area is quiet and we love the location. It also offers a beautiful pool. Thanks for making it feel more like a home instead of an apartment.

        When I first moved April of last year, I was so excited to be living in an area that was so beautiful and quiet. Little did I know that not only the community was great but so was my apartment. So far I have had no problems with noise or major bugs. You will see a few spiders in the spring and a little silver fish, but nothing more than that! Love living here. The parking is a challenge but if you come in early at night, you will be able to get a park close to your home.

          This is beautiful place to stay with horrible management and disgusting tenants who completely disregard the doggy stations, which provides them free trash stations to discard their dog waste. Management seems more concerned with trash valet fines than fining those who allow their pets to defecate at the apartment entrance. Dog feces are more present than cars. It is such a beautiful place to live, and conveniently located. This particular complex does not allow you to utilize the grievance process and management engages in very immature behavior when confronted. For this price, I would advise you to search further. If management was replaced, I'm sure this complex has the potential to be a five star complex.

            The management team here are very rude and disrepectful. They are very unorganized. One person tells you one thing and the other one tells you something different. We now have to pay rent online no other options and this is the 2nd month I have had issues and they keep fining me random fines. My lease is up and June and I am counting the days. I do not recommend this place to anyone and I am ready for my lease to be over.

              My husband & I are in our 4th year lease at Wakefield Glen. We have witnessed multiple changes in staff and will admit that the current management staff is the best yet. However, I am very displeased with the overall experience. Our place was upgraded several years ago but done so haphazardly and only partially. One bathroom has a light fixture that falls out of the ceiling, irregular globs of white caulk lines on the poorly laid vinyl, one handle never replaced so its white instead of silver, one that was never drilled into the poorly painted/covered over door so it just swings back & forth, etc. Our apartment has been flooded twice: once because our neighbors water heater had busted and once because a building sprinkler line had burst. Our laundry room also routinely flooded with heavy rains or after the building was power washed but they did finally get that fixed. However, the laundry room vinyl is still buckled as a result. Our walls were never repainted as part of the upgrade. They've been patched both times after the ceilings fell in from water. We've had blower fans brought to us after each flood but our carpetsā€¦Ā See More>

                We originally signed a one bed one bath under a rental company that left about a month after we moved in and they were AWFUL. Riverstone, however, is absolutely fantastic. The fist lease we signed (with the old company) really screwed us over on the rent and since we needed to move out of a city in a hurry, we didn't think too much of it. When we saw what Riverstone was asking, we were able to get out of our lease early, they waived the transfer fee since we had been grossly overpaying, and were able to get in to a two bed/two bath for only an extra $25 a month. The Riverstone staff has always been so willing and friendly--we absolutely adore them. Bruce makes a point to come out and say hi to us and the dogs when he sees us walking by the office; the maintenance guys are absolutely AMAZING; and the valet trash pickup is quite nice since the dumpster is a bit out of the way for the majority of the complex.                   I love my spacious apartment in Wakefield Glen! It looks like new and has nice built-in shelving and storage cupboards in the living room with a shelf to put the TV. The maintenance staff fixes any issues very quickly. The office staff is friendly and helpful. A parking space is always open close to my building. The complex even offers valet trash too! My only complaint is having to pay for included cable. I could do without that. The apartment location is in a very safe area just outside Wakefield Plantation and provides access to many walking trails.

                      I have lived here since May. I have a 3 bedroom townhouse with garage. I love it. Plenty of space. The MBR suite is huge with a large walk-in closet and en suite bath with double vanties and soaking tub. The kitchen has lots of cabinet space and stainless steel applicances. Love the back patio that overlooks the woods. The staff is fantastic. Bruce, Caroline and Frank are so friendly and helpful and Todd and Doug get any repairs done usually the same day.

                        Been here approximately 18 months and have seen management changes but I would have to say that the current management is spot on. They are very friendly and react quickly to any issues you have. You will not beat the price in this area for the accommodations you receive. I enjoy living here!

                          We had issues here since we moved in. We drove in from out of town, toured a model apt with upgrades, turned in the application. We were approved and were told that the apartment we were getting had all the upgrades that we saw in the model. We packed up the Uhaul and drove up to Raleigh. We signed the lease, got our keys, and went to check out our new home. It didn't have all the upgrades we were told we were paying for-it looked like they started but didn't finish. Of course that wasn't reflected in our rent. We were stuck paying the full amount as if we had all the upgrades. Also, the carpet was disgusting. Huge stains everywhere in every room. Maintenance is kind of hit or miss. It can sometimes take quite a while and multiple requests to get a response. Our apartment flooded due to a burst pipe coming from outside the building through our wall to the upstairs units. There's no insulation in the walls so the pipe burst. The maintenance team did respond quickly but didn't listen when we told them where the water was coming from, resulting in a lot moreā€¦Ā See More>

The employees have put in all my work orders in a fast an timely manner and the maintenance team has come out and fixed all issues so quick.                               No insulation between floors in these apartments. Insulation needs to be updated. Cushion needs to be used under carpet to reduce noise levels. Someone needs to actually walk an apartment completely \including the patio before allowing renter to move in. My patio was filthy. I never looked at it because I draw all the way from Florida late at night to move in and all I cared about was that I had a place to call home. My kitchen needs upgrades for the rent I am paying. My neighbors have an upgraded kitchen and I don't. I also wanted bookshelves and I got the fireplace. I would suggest you pickup the pace on upgrading these units constantly to keep up with never apartment complexes to live in. They are all over the place around here now and the amenities on the include granite and stainless steel appliances. Shrubbery needs to be trimmed back. We need management to be seen around pool area in the summer. Kids get out of hand.

                                RUNNNN!!!! They are FRAUDS!! They overcharge you water ($400 a month is what they were trying to get me to pay at one point) and electricity ($150 a month for a one bedroom with heat at 65 and air at 75) and when you claim there is something wrong it will take months to get it resolved if it ever gets resolved. They LIE and then get nasty with you for trying to hold them accountable for what they said. This is the worse place you could ever live. I have approximately 10 work orders for them to fix my AC unit. When the work order was actually responded to (sometimes it would be weeks) they didn't do anything to correct the problem. I would have to call again later that day. It got to a point where I was tired of calling. They do not keep the corridors well lit. When the lights go out, it can take weeks for them to replace. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, AND FIND A BETTER APARTMENT COMPLEX TO LIVE IN. If you have a pet, they will charge you to replace the carpetā€¦Ā See More>

                                    After searching several properties in this area, Wakefield Glen really seems like the best property in the area to rent from. The staff were so friendly and inviting, both on the tour I was given and when discussing all of the details their property had to offer. This property is aesthetically pleasing to the eye, so you know that the grounds keepers do great work. The maintenance people seemed friendly and not lazy because they were actively running around to solve any issues residents had. Overall I really had no complaints about this property, and all of the staff, like I said, were very accommodating and addressed any concerns I had about their property. They seem to really take care of their residents, which is always a big plus when looking for a place to live. I can definitely see myself moving in here very soon!

                                      So far my experience has been good at Wakefield Glen. I love the layout of the apartment and I do not hear a lot of noise. The only things I feel could be improved are parking (although they did recently handout parking permits) and some of the fixtures were not installed properly when we first moved in and fell off the wall easily. Maintenance should take more care when inspecting the apartments before new tenants move in. All and all this is a great place to live.

                                        I have lived at Wakefield Glen for awhile and I love it. The biggest thing that I was looking for when apartment searching was a washer and dryer in the unit. Not only does Wakefield Glen offer washers and driers but they are full size. The apartments are also very spacious. The maintenance team keeps the grounds looking beautiful at all times, and they just upgraded the clubhouse making it look very warm and inviting. Parking can sometimes be a problem, and I wish they would put a dog park in so my dog has a place to run. Overall this is the place for me and I highly recommend it to others!

                                              Just moved in...overall a very nice place, area & staff. Do note that the cable states "included" or that you do not pay Time Warner and you don't- but it is tacked on monthly with your rent. (So YOU still pay for it!!) Very spacious master and upstairs rooms....the living room is a little small but nice finishes, appliances and faux dark wood floors!! Washer & dryer is included, but not the microwave. :/
