Deceiving
Let me say that I am not out to bash anyone, and am trying to be as objective as possible and point out both the good and the bad. As someone who is a long time resident of Wakefield Glen, I wish I had only good things to say, but that's not the case. As others have mentioned, Steve, who is over the property managers, doesn't care about the residents and is unwilling to hear your issues, without placing some kind of blame onto you. The management company (Connor) is terrible. I have to think that this can't all be the fault of the staff, and that it must come from higher up; Connor. Their policies are outdated and they do not know how to retain employees or resisdents. The turnover at Wakefield Glen is so high, that you would need more than just your fingers to count the # of employees that have come and go in a year (6 months even). That being said, the current staff, Helen and Ashley (I believe) are very caring, professional and have been good so far. The issue is, that they don't keep anyone long enough to have success. An apartment community should care about their residents and care about the grounds, the apartments, etc. If The Connor Group, or Steve (or whomever is in charge) would realize that the office staff needs to be consistent, maybe they could relieve a lot of their problems. The apartments themselves are very, very spacious and I have received compliments on the size.Share This Review
