I agree with both reviews more so than the first review I have been here for a year next month and I wish I would had only did a 12 month lease instead of a 16 month lease can't wait this now my health is bothering me with the moist and dampness in the area outside and inside ~
.This very true~ water drains and the trash here is an eye sore! Utilities are much more expensive than elsewhere. FirstBilling, previously known as Heartland, are actually owned or have some tricky relationship with the Connor Group that OWNS Wakefield Glen apartments. You will be charged for services that are not delivered. Add about $70-80 per month in excess fees.Not worth it...
3. Hidden fees include Cable TV service. You'll need to pay an additional $100 per month for Time Warner service, whether you want it or not. And, this does NOT include the cable boxes. If you don't want service, you still have to pay the $100 per month. If you do want to actually use the service, you'll still have to pay another $25 or so to get the Cable boxes.overpriced
The HVAC system is LOUD! Not just LOUD... VERY LOUD! When it comes on, I can't hear the television! I finally had to buy wireless headphones to listen to the TV. And, the AC doesn't cool the apartment uniformly. One room is too cold. One is just right. And, another is too hot. And, the apartment is not energy efficient. The AC or the heating need to run almost all the time to keep the temperature where I want it.
Also the gym is old and not well kept! It's really gone down since I have been here!
I concur with all that above that is very true! ~ I have also been very sick with my asthma and broncolis recently for weeks at a time. I brought a high grade filter to be changed in my apt~ and I am still not getting any relief! Since I have lived here I always pay my rent between the 1 and 9 due to my paycheck period~! And explained to them that I have no problem paying the late fee if late~ however the office staff continues to call me daily or leaving message that they are going to key my apt and states to me they are sending me to the lawyer ~ Now this month I have been out sick from work with the flu for 2 weeks and told the office I would pay it by the 15th with the late fee and court cost! They agreed they still sent me to court and sending court eviction letters from the lawyer and on my door after I have pay as agreed and called them to ask why I am still receiving a letter on my door ~ The mmgt here is not organizated or got their stuff together ~ I have never seen nothing like it ~ Ready to move asap ~ and praying that I am not making my health worst by staying these next few months ~ Honestly I wish I never referred anyone here and move here myself. You live and you learn ~ unhappy, sick and tired!!
