I have lived here a little less than a year. I moved from another city in NC after living in a very large home for 20 years. My first time renting in over 20 years. I love my apartment and had everything I requested done within two days since the present maintance staff has been here. I am surprised by the negative comments posted. When I moved in I had a problem with fleas/nats flying in my face as I was on my computer. My apt was serviced every Mon for "drain flies" for over a month. They finally went away and I later found out that my neighbor above me had trash on their patio for months and the problem was coming from their apt! I also understand that my apt had "bed bugs" and people had moved out because of it. When I checked, I found that it had been corrected though 3 checks by dogs and a special service. I would have raised the roof if there were bed bugs in my apartment as my grandchild visits often and stays in that room. As for the pool, steps have been taken to make sure only residents can swim in the pool. There were young kids playing and throwing balls with no respect for others at the pool. I don't go that much so it really didn't brother me. What brothers me has nothing to do with management or staff. It's people that do not discard trash into the proper containers, don't break down boxes, leave trash all around the complex. Those are the things that drive up fees for everyone. People are so inconsiderate of others these days. Get out of cars and hit your car with their door, don't care. I only have one wish. Parking!!! I wish there were assigned one parking space near the building for everyone. If you have more than one car park the other one away from the assigned. It should go by handicap, age of tenants first. People have two or more cars and everyone parks close to the building. Those of us with one car end of parking far away. It's not fair. But again, nobody thinks of others anymore. In closing, people stop looking for someone to blame for everything that happens. Think how you can go about things in a different way and you may find you get different results. When you live around different people, things happen. Do your best to make the complex a good one. The size of the apts alone and the rent make this a great deal if you check around. Great area, I am happy.
