We have lived in a 2br at Wakefield Glen for two years and have been very happy here. The location is absolutely fantastic and convenient to both Falls of Neuse and Capital, but not nearly as expensive as complexes closer into Raleigh. We have formed good relationships with the office and maintenance staff and they have been nothing but helpful and accommodating. Many of the reviews that complain about the staff fail to remember that the staff members WANT residents to be happy (it makes their job easier!), and if there's an issue, the staff didn't just wake up one morning and decide to pick on someone. They only act for a reason. I like the text and email updates from management about upcoming events or deadlines and I feel like they keep residents in the loop very well. The grounds are beautiful and nicely maintained. You don't see beer bottles and junk strewn about like you do in some other complexes. The apartments themselves are nicely appointed and attractive, and the walk in closets are wonderful for storage! The only drawback is parking (we live at the end furthest from the clubhouse and it's tight down here), but when these were built they had in mind one-car families, and management has instituted parking decals which has helped the situation a lot. We would recommend Wakefield Glen to any friends looking in the area for sure.
