It's a nice quiet cummunity. Maintenance is very Prompt if needed. I have lived in this cummunity a little over 2 years and I am very pleased with the apartment and the area. Close to shopping and everything you could possibly need. Some good restaurants and close to Wilmington.

It's very quiet out here. Apartment I'm in is in need of upgrades. I'm noticing alot of stuff and I've only been in the place since June 2024, it's September 2024 now. I've had no issues with neighbors either.

I have lived here for five years with my daughter. We like it here. It is quiet and peaceful. The neighbors that we have met are very friendly and very nice. The grounds are well maintained. Maintenance is very fast at very fast at fixing things. I like staying here.

My experience has been great. Management is easy to speak with and things are taken care of in a timely fashion. I have no complaints. Neighborhood is quiet and respectful and neighbors are friendly and personable.

Nice spacious rooms. Safe environment never had an issue. Reliable knowledgeable maintenance worker who works very hard to keep the community up to standards by himself. I don't know how he manages to get it all done so timely.

I really loved the apartments when we moved in very quiet and the overall appearance was polished. But since we have had a change in management. We NO LONGER have monthly newsletters, school supplies for the kids, fun community activities, rent went up twice and three times in one year for some residents, they haven't pressure washed the apartments and work orders aren't done as quickly as they used to.

I loved this community in the beginning. But over time the care for the residents has decreased. The property has changed since multiple different management changes and changed in owners. The I've been here five/six years. There have been no upgrades. The problem of things that need to be replaced just gets patch work. Apartment owners don't want to put the money in for Upgrades but have no problem taking the renters money! An the multiple change of people buying and selling this property. As a renter does not look good to me. But all of this is just my opinion.

The apartment homes are beautiful and spacious . The rent is affordable. The community is quiet and secure. Your own transportation is required because there is not public transportation, at this time. Overall, it is a great place to live.

Very pleased with the community. Quick responses to repair requests. There have been some noise issues and some concerns with people knocking on doors at night but overall we are very happy with the apartment community.

Well with the new changes it is ok..i feel like the gym and computer room and the outside sitting area needs to be open back up for the residents to need something for the preteen to do and we als need recycling bends...i feel like after 5 years the carpet should be replaced in all apartments. I also feel like the property should do something fun once a month for the residents also.

This is great community to live in. It is quiet and spacious with good management. I would reccomend living here to any of my family and friends looking for a place to live and call home. The management is polite and very courteous and are very knowledgeable in apt living.

The Appearance May be Nice...but not the noise!
When we first moved in we could hear our neighbors upstairs when they walked. A month later, they moved out due to the lack of maintenance responding to what needed to be fixed in the apartment. There was some legal battle and the apartment remained empty. For about 5 months, living here wasn't too bad. New neighbors moved in and now it's "Welcome to the Thunder Dome"! Constantly the kids are running through out the apartment and jumping up and down and one of them cries all of the time. Often it sounds like they will come through the ceiling. Apparently they hear more of our voices than anything. We hear the water trickle down the walls when they flush the toilet and oh joy, I can hear when they are sick and throwing up. One room in the apartment is always raging hot and the other side is freezing cold. Often we have to switch the thermostat from heat to ac and back again to get the air to come out warm instead of cold when the heat is on. Such a shame
I have to be honest the place is very lovely! The management her is great and are very eager to help with any problem. The grounds are very well kept and it has a little playground for the children. I would love to stay here forever but there is one MAJOR problem...the noise!You can hear everything through the apartment walls and it is terrible and unbearable! I can hear everything...when my nieghbors talk I hear them, when they flush their toilet I hear the water trickle down through my walls, when they sneeze I hear them, when they argue they may as well be in my apartment. I does not matter if its the people above me or one either side I can hear it all!! I go to bed early and get up early and I realize that not eveyone keeps the same hours but it is so frustrating to be woken up to what sounds like reconstrution going on around you and all it really is people walking around normally. Pros & Cons
Like anywhere else, it's got good and bad. If you're looking for somewhere right outside of town, it's a great place (only 5 min from Cape Fear Mem. Bridge). As far as the management, they are very nice, and throughout the month they have various things going on in the clubhouse to get the neighbors together, so that's nice. I think the only real concern is that the infrastructure of the buildings, although aesthetically appealing, are poor in quality. By this, I mean that you can hear a lot of what your neighbors are doing, whether upstairs or downstairs, left or right. Three months after moving, I've had a flooded bathroom, and several other problems dealing with either the plumbing or A/C. But I can say that maintenance has been very efficient, and staff are always nice and willing to help with whatever I have complained about. Besides that, my only other complaint is the mosquitoes and gnats are TERRIBLE!!! I think it is because of the river being so close.
