I have lived with my girlfriend on a 2nd floor apartment for a few years and honestly we both hate it. There aren't many issues but the issues that exist are big ones. First off rent is very expensive for the outdated appliances and windows that allow freezing cold air to come through in the winter which increases the heating bill drastically. The biggest complaint which has caused us to hate living here is loud inconsiderate 3rd flood neighbors above us. We have had several different upstairs neighbors now all of which have been extremely loud and inconsiderate at all hours of the day. We have approached them nicely but it has never worked to reduce noise. We have resorted to talking with office personnel about this many times but nothing ever changes and they never take anything serious. They always reply with " we will talk to them and ask them to be more considerate". Never works! For the rent we pay which is extremely high you would think they could afford to put in some more soundproof material in the ceilings, walls etc! Also maybe update the appliances that barely work and are as old as dirt? The windows are terrible as well and the lighting is outdated. Overall we both absolutely hate living here and I would never recommend these apartments to anyone! Andrew-
