Illegal rental agreement doesn't allow moving out during winter months without a huge penalty (why is that the renter's problem that the office is incompetent in re-renting)! You are charged for 2+ extra months when move out -- also illegal. Air conditioners noisy and don't work well and management refuses to replace. Electrical outlets are illegally/poorly grounded shooting out sparcs. Only one kitchen appliance can be used at a time without throwing circuit breakers. Groundskeepers start loud lawnmower or leaf blowers at 8AM instead of waiting until later iin the day, waking lots of folks in the summer. Etc etc problems due to office staff refusal to listen and *act* on complaints in a rational manner.

    I'm sorry that you are unhappy with the way that we structure our lease expirations. We do have fewer leases ending in the winter months, because in New England people just don't move as much in the winter, and this does help to prevent vacancies in the winter. We definitely don't charge for an extra 2 months when you vacate. You may be misunderstanding your lease? What we require is a 60 Day notice to vacate at the end of your lease. For example, if your lease ends on 5/12/14, you would give notice to vacate on 3/12/14. You don't pay for an extra two months. I looked at your history of service requests, and don't see that you have called anything in, about your outlets or your air conditioner. We would be happy to check these out for you, if you want to give me a call and give us permission to enter your apartment. I also understand your concern about the landscapers, but their contract does allow them to start work at 8:00am. We do not allow them to work on the property on weekends or holidays however. I noticed that you did not move in until November last year, so hopefully you weren't disturbed too many times by the landscapers!
