All u need to know.........good and bad..

I stayed here for 1 year in a 2 bed room apartment and I am a happy moved out resident. I like the new apartment (pheasant run) a lot better. <br> <br>Layout:: The aparments look very good from outside and are very spacious inside. The hall is very big but that makes the kitchen very small. 1 1/2 bath rooms are very convenient. <br> <br>Air circulation:: I am not sure whether it is do with the location of building 20 or the small windows, the air circulation was very poor and affected health. <br>There is no balcony/patio and it really sucked over longterm. <br> <br>NoiseLevel:: Yes, it is unacceptable. You could be reading a book and always get <br> confused whether someone knocked on ur door or ur neighbour´s door. <br> I cud clearly hear the traffic on amherst. <br> It also started to get annoying to hear the police car and ambulence siren every night. <br> <br>Heating: Heat, Hotwater and Cooking gas in not included in the rent. Keep that in mind when comparing rents. We been told the heating system is efficient and i guess thats true bcoz the apartments are big and we always used to feel cold in bath rooms as there are no heaters in bath rooms. <br> <br>MoveOut: Real Bad Experience. <br> I used to hear complaints abt the management and it was my turn to experience it when i was moving out. They were real cocky when we were leaving the apartment. <br> If u r signing a 6 month lease, add 100 more dollars to ur per month rent bcoz they r gonna cut 610 dollars minimum ( 310 for cleaning and 300 for paint) from ur security deposit no matter how clean the apartment is. <br> All they gonna say at the end when u get refund is two words "not clean." If you ask what is not clean, they dont have an answer. <br> They say their maintainance people said it wasnt clean. <br> We left the apartment very clean but couldnt help ourselves when they are ripping off the money. <br> They expect you paint the apartment before you leave. <br> <br> First of all, we were suprised when we saw the list of items to clean , not to mention windows blindfolds ( $15 each), there are 8 of them in 2 bed room. Even after we cleaned everything, they came up with magic number 310 dollars and they also dont know how they got that figure. <br> <br>Maintaince: Maintainance is good. Replaced broken AC in one day. The aparements are maintained in good condition. <br> <br>Misc: Kitchen sink has no disposer. <br> <br>Amenities: Gym and tennis courts are good but the swimming pool isn´t . Only 6ft deep and the area with 6ft depth is very small. <br> It´s okay for kids. I always used to go to my friend´s apartment for swimming. <br> <br>Parking space: Never had problem with parking. More and more space was available as more people started moving out. <br> <br>Overall: I wouldnt recommend these apartments unless look of the apartment is all that matters to you. There are better apartments with better rates and some of them even include heat , hotwater, cooking gas.
