I have been living at Boulder Park for long enough now to provide a proper review. We live in the smaller 2 bedroom apartment and there is a larger 2 bedroom & 1 bedroom offered as well. Out of 5 stars I would say this is a 3.5. Boulder Park has many good features but has its problems too. For the good: The location is great. Quick access to Route 3 at exit 8 and Amherst St being close by offers plenty of good shopping and dinning options. The appartments are on the larger sizes for similar appartments in the area. The rent is affordable (somewhat) for similar area offerings. The grounds look nice and they seem to keep up on exterior maintenance by having landscaping. This past summer the roofs were replaced and the hallway carpets were cleaned a few weeks back. Noise has been low. There is an additional half bah in 2 bedrooms which is rare in the area. The bad (note, all references of an apartment is based off my personal experience): the water pressure is poor and hot water takes too long to start coming out of the faucet. There is only 1 AC per appartment, ours does an extremely poor job at cooling. We twice had maintenance check on it while we were not their and both times they said it was fine. I'm taking a day off of work to have them check again soon. Even if it did work well, I doubt it would cool the entire apartment. The windows need replacement. They let in cold and heat. In the winter large amounts of condensation collects on the window & sill which needs to be wiped off constantly. There are no locks on any interior door (bedroom or bathroom). The refrigerator is small and old & there is no garbage disposal or sink sparyer. Storage is tight, besides the closets (which are good sized), the kitchen cabinets are few and small. The bathrooms only have a cabinet for storage with no draws. It looks as everything was chosen for being the least expensive option. Nothing is included except parking (which can be difficult base on which building you live in). You pay for water/sewer/trash. Water is based off community usage and divided up amount all tenants. Overall he apartment is good. For me the negatives has me strongly considering moving. This place should be on your list but most of my negatives don't truly get noticed until I was here for a while. In the last few months I've seen a high turnover. For example, of the 6 apartments on my floor/wing 4 have seen new tenets recently. My neighbors have been nice though.

Thank you for talking the time to give a thorough and thoughtful review. When maintenance comes in to check your a/c, please ask them to look at the water pressure and hot water tank also. Sometimes they can make a minor adjustment to correct that issue (Or give us a call and we will submit a separate service request). Thank you, Kelly Blake, Property Manager
