The apartments are nice. The ones facing the main street can be kinda loud at times because there is a fire station near by. This complex has great access to the park and middle school near by. The staff is friendly and courteous.

There is a fire station nearby and almost every day you hear them go by. Plus, the traffic noise is very loud. 
The maintenance staff is very professional and kind. The is a park across the street, which is nice. There is a grocery store within walking distance and small restaurants also. If you can handle the noise, it is okay.

Looks can be deceiving&#44; but do not be fooled. If you are in to paying 400 to 500 dollars a month for a garage be my guest&#44; because that is all you are doing. The apartment itself you could watch deteriorate before your eyes&#44; what with the poor and cheap effort to get the apartment ready for a tenant. Silicone and paint to fix everything&#44; the ceiling and wall damage just smeared with paint. cabinets held cheaply with staples or small nails that snag you. Swamp coolers that are ALWAYS acting up and never fixed properly. Now there is the staff. Nice enough at first&#44; they will get you in and lie to your face about details of the apartment&#44; things they will fix for you&#44; availability etc. We were forced to take a date to move in&#44; one that was inconvenient&#44; because that was when it would be ready. On that date it was not ready to move in. Sinks were leaky&#44; the windows were filthy and promised to get cleaned along with the skylights caked with dirt&#44; the &#34;custom painted&#34; wall was not done the &#34;new&#34; carpet had in fact only been just shampooed old carpet&#44; the door to the laundry room was hanging out of place (still is to this day) and the washing machine is on its last leg with the racket it makes. custom wall had to be done twice because of the mess and poor quality. The staff are liars and not to be trusted. Pay close attention to your lease agreements and addendum&#39;s because they will try to fee you time and again for different things trying to play on ignorance. There have been a lot of elderly living there and a few that moved had good reason. I have been watching a younger&#44; louder and more disrespectful crowd start moving in. Vandalism has risen there&#44; tire slashing aplenty. Look it up in police reports&#44; its all there. Oh&#44; and the koi pond? Filled full of grass. Bottom line This place charges more and does less for you&#44; tests your intelligence&#44; and or is disrespectful all in one&#44; and leaves you in a constant aggravated state.  

Do not rent here&#44; especially if you have dogs.  They are not actually pet friendly and the neighbors for the most part aren&#39;t either. At least expect several complaints if your dogs bark even a little.  The pool is disgusting and poorly maintained&#44; management is unfriendly and so awful that even the maintenance guys complain about them to the residents.  Everything in the apartment is CHEAP. When we moved in&#44; half of our screens were broken and many of the closet doors were either barely attached or not at all&#44; and when we moved out&#44; they charged us for everything that was broken prior to our move-in. Management&#44; is useless and will lie to your face&#44; especially Jessica and Ana.  Don&#39;t get stuck here&#44; it&#39;s a waste of money and you&#39;ll hate coming home. There were several questionable neighbors who would sit in the parking lot&#44; next to our cars&#44; and smoke pot all night and leave trash in the parking area and when they weren&#39;t smoking pot&#44; they were yelling&#44; fighting or partying. Many times&#44; lighting would burnout in our stairwell or in other common areas and we would be without for months. When you get inconvenienced by maintenance issues&#44; don&#39;t expect them to reduce your rent or put you up in a place with running water. I&#39;m so glad to be out of here and done with this joke of a place. I really can&#39;t say enough bad things about this place&#44; its management and much of the community.  To try and end on a positive note&#44; the location is great.

Tierra Antigua is a SLUM!

Stay away, RUN away as fast as you can OR YOU WILL REGRET IT! After 3 years battling the cockroaches and spiders we now have a family of mice that moved in to the patio area and to make matters worse we just received a new rental/lease agreement raising the monthly rate by an absurd $700.00 dollars. Really, this is all true with no exaggeration, we always pay, have paid by the 30th or 31st on time every single month for the past three years and this is what we get. Two years ago they slipped in a mandatory devious yet shady $25.00 monthly charge for some useless (Valet) trash service. All tenants pay this ridiculous fee regardless if you use it or not, which by the way increases your total trash fee to nearly $50.00. This fee is not included in the overall rental price it will suddenly show up in the rental agreement, thus really making tenants suspicious about all the clever ideas they may fabricate to get more money from us. So far, I have asked only three neighbors if their rent was increased recently. Our neighbors who have renewed their lease say the increase was zero, fifty or $100.00 dollars monthly. GO figure! My family consists of a high school teacher, retired male veteran and a 13 year old so if you think you may get lucky and receive better treatment than us, you can take that gamble. Eventually, youâ€™ll regret it!
