TERRIBLE! HORRIBLE! SHADY

Im reporting this entire management!!!!!!!! These people approved me, gave me a run around, gave the apartment away after I was told I will be contacted because I’m on the WAITING LIST! And then cancelled my application due to them saying I wasn’t int contact. I recorded everything! EVERY CALL FROM THE FIRST DAY! Y’all take money and don’t do y’all job… not with me

They don't care to help with the repairs or anything at all. The water is brown and the basement is always flooded. Don't get fooled by the apartments here they are all broken down and not keep upkeep

This place is one step up from living under a bridge with a shopping cart, and the majority of consumers who frequent the local shopping center appear to have been doing just that. The management is doing all that is possible to accelerate repair and reconstruction of outdated units, but the unfortunate result is continuous disturbance of long-term tenants who are still living in said units, without any possibility of an upgrade. If you don't drive, or are conservative of fuel, it's a great place to live, since there are starting points for Queens and Nassau transit right at the front gate, but you'll find the noise and pedestrian traffic to be irritating if you're searching for the 'coastal experience,' or want to sit quietly and listen to music on any given day. The beaches in this area are dirty, restricted, and generally unpleasant, therefore, the street side will be the majority of your experience. Dirty, low-class neighborhood, with instant access to immigration offices for obvious reasons.

Don't even bother. The apartments look nice but after a few weeks here, you'll be miserable. The apartment I rent was said to had been renovated and gutted but I believe that they gutted the apartment and did not replace the materials that were needed for insulation. The noise factor comes from poor construction of the walls. Do not even bother considering bringing a baby here... terrible.

I lived here for 3 years and I couldnt be happier to be leaving. Im not even waiting for my lease to end, its such a --------. Its a horrible place to live. Garbage is stored in the basement for rats and mice to thrive on and a horrendous stench permiates through the building.The building are roach, rat and mouse infested. Paint peels from walls every 2 months and maintenance simply over it after you beg them to come for 1 month. Security find every an any reason to fine tenants rather than secure the building, they're a joke. The only pets allowed are the rats and mice that over run the buildings. There isnt any parking if you arrive after 6pm. A garage spot is $120 a month plus a security deposit and there is a waiting list. The laundry rooms and machines are broken down and just junky.

Its easily accessible by public transportation, supermarket is right around the corner and beach is right there. They're renovating the buildings and apartments, I can't wait to see what they will look like when they're done.

Bad neighborhood , roaches, when i moved out maintenance made a b.s. excuse for damage and took my security deposit. The apartment was perfect when i left. I made sure of that. Lowlife people live there!!

I have lived here at Wavecrest since 2015 and not planning to leave anytime soon. The summers here are great as you can just walk to the beach or run on the boardwalk. My kids enjoy playing in the parks they have here on the grounds. In the winter having a Gym here is great. If anything breaks in the apartment maintenance is fast and responsive. I also have an underground garage spot I do pay additional for but it is totally worth it.

This is a horrible place to rent an apartment. Dont live here. Caught 5 mice in 2 days. Bathroom paint peels and molds. They come and repaint every 4 or 5 months. You have to take off from work because they dont work on weekends. They charge you fees on top of your rent for improvements outside the building yet they are content with the fact that the apartment you live in stays roach and mice infested and is a health and safety danger zone. Dont forget the laundry room with 1 cart and a machine thattakes your $ instead of loading your card and the wavecrest isnt responsible for it so your on your own and basically lose your $. Office staff are rude and unwilling to help. Management is never available. They simple pass the buck and sweep you under the rug. This is the furthest thing from luxury. Its hell.

I have lived here for several years now and Wavecrest Gardens has been great. I love my apartment & community. I use the gym daily, I rent garage parking & if there is ever an issue or repair needed I call maintenance and the come to fix it. Summers by the beach here are amazing. I did not rent an Oceanview apartment but I am thinking of requesting to transfer to have a view of the Ocean.

Badbugs..... I moved to the one of the best apartments of this complex and had to leave in 3 weeks. I informed them 3 days after moving in and left 3 weeks after due to BADBUGS !!!! And you know what ? They hired a lawyer and we had a court; the court decision was to pay few extra month as this problem with Badbugs was resolved! Really? Can you imagine those Badbugs in my new furniture and I had had stay there for whole year then? Terrible experience.
