Great Place
I have loved my time at Uncommon, from my tour to moving in and making my apartment my own. Although everywhere has its things, the office staff has been exceptional at helping with any issues i have had. I cannot thank the team enough for going above and beyond, especially JT for listening and understanding while helping the best everyone could. 10/10 i would recommend living at Uncommon for the excellent staff alone

Clean and modern apartments!
I came here for a tour and WOW. Spencer showed me a 2-bedroom and I couldn't have been happier with what I saw. They have an awesome gym and pool (the pool is on the 2nd floor btw which I think is so cool) and they have a whole study center to use. The apartments are a really good size and since all of the furniture comes with it moving is easier. They also have a washer and dryer in every unit which was a must for me. The price is really reasonable when you consider the utilities are included and you get all the nice furniture. Highly recommend!

Worst Place on High Street
THEY DELETE POOR REVIEWS AND BRIBE RESIDENTS TO LEAVE GOOD REVIEWS Rebecca Bowser is the property manager at Uncommon Columbus. She is a BULLY. In the month of May her entire staff, with the exception one is leaving. They cite her as the reason for quitting, and I believe it. Becky is only concerned about meeting leasing numbers and does not care about each individual resident, nor her employees clearly. Management is only the first issue at Uncommons. Other issues include: -Elevator always broken (still is, check it out) -Rates way too expensive -Tenants are allowed to be loud and throw parties, even when youāre trying to study for a midterm/final -They do not recycle -They have failed to fix a lead into Spectrum Mobile and have had to enter my room multiple times without my request -Pool is dirty and opens late in the year ETC THIS IS THE WORST PLACE ON HIGH STREET FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS

Don't rent here.
Overall rating: If I could give a negative rating I WOULD. Don't rent here. All of the complaints I've listed below--besides the casual accusing me of stealing--can be found in other reviews as well. @Uncommon, when you guys are ready to rectify your wrong with me, look my name up in your records and give me a call :) - It's gonna smell like weed and nattie lite all the time, all day, every day. It's a college dorm without the restrictions, which some people may like, some may not. All up to you. - Accused me and my friend (you guessed it, we're both black) of stealing a moving cart only to realize we didn't steal it when they rolled the tapes back. Never got a call, apology, response about it. - Never replaced my broken mirror during my entire lease and then charged me for the broken mirror after I left. So basically I paid for their repairs. They did the same to my other roommates. - Price is super inflated. You're going to be paying around $1,000+ to live in basically a building made of plastic and play-doh. When I say cheap, I mean those shiny new-buildsā¦Ā See More>anonymous

RENTERS BEWARE!!!!! This property is so mismanaged and neglected ANY and ALL promises they make are LIES! Let me begin with the overpriced apartment which in the course of 3 years changed the air filter 2x, a cracked and leaking ceiling (6th floor) took weeks to be addressed and took years to be patched and repainted. Chronically broken elevators missing numbers/lights - beyond filthy. Key fob???? No need - the parking garage door is ALSO chronically broken leaving any wanderer off the streets entry to the garage but also to the building since the locks for elevator entry on every floor of the parking garage are broken. Watch yourself down long halls - bums off the streets could be lurking...Try addressing something with management or maintenance - good luck. YOU are not a priority, parents DO NOT let your kid stay here. IT IS A DUMP. If I could attach photos I would.

Where do we start? The decline over the last 4 months has been so drastic it makes me sad to be here anymore. The kids in the office are so untrained and careless. Office staff knows nothing. The Mexican guy from maintenance now is the only person left to even show he cares by actions. No sanitizer wipes. Building stinks. Office staff is beyond undecated. Garage has flooded. I could go on for days here recently to the status of this building. Stay AWAY

I would not wish living in Uncommon on my worst enemy. The room is constantly overflowing. The walls are as thin as can be, meaning that I can always hear my neighbors and the seemingly constant construction outside the building has meant that I am unable to do anything inside my unit during the day unless I want to get a migraine, and I have to sleep with white noise blaring and ear plugs. Over the summer, the pool sat empty for months while other complexes had theirs open. It is clear that they rushed through building this complex. The materials used are of low quality, and the building feels like it is falling apart. My friend on one of the upper floors (not even the top floor) would have water leaking into her apartment whenever it rained. Any time it rains, the TV goes off, and when we had a tornado warning I wasn't even able to listen to the news because all the channels disappeared. I don't know a single person who enjoys living here. Please, sign a lease literally anywhere else.

If you said you liked rude staff and like to overpay for it, I might recommend this. However you still would have to deal with the noise and slow maintenance. I regret my decision to come here and warn everyone looking at this to think long and hard before signing. When they give a tour, they seem to know where to avoid so that they don't run into the trash in the hallways. It's a mess.

Uncommon has been an extremely frustrating place to live. It is an expensive, and it is not worth it. There is a serious trash problem in the building. They trash room is constantly overflowing and there are bugs due to the trash. Additionally, the hallways and common areas are very dirty. They charge high rents and waste money on unnecessary amenities that like giving each resident a google home mini that cannot even be used in the apartments. The staff at the front desk are not helpful when you tell them about your concerns. Overall, I have been very disappointed with Uncommon.

Similar to other reviews on here, I have had a very average/below average experience living at Uncommon. I understand that it is the first year of operation, but the building quality is so poor. I have sent in noise complaints more than once, as we can hear every word from residents above and below us throughout the day and I am often woken up at 3am by the neighbors below me. The neighbors below me have an absurdly loud speaker, and although management has supposedly told them it is disrespectful, the issue has persisted. Additionally, the front and side doors of the building, as well as the elevators, seem to be broken quite often and there is no easy access to stairs from the lobby. As far as my apartment goes, I appreciate my spacious room and personal bathroom. Our kitchen hasn't had any issues. Overall, the building and apartments are very poor quality and had the potential to be very nice. I will say that the gym and study space, as well as pool and courtyard, are the best part of living here. The convenience of Kroger across the street is also great, and the staff is delightful!

I have had a wonderful experience living at Uncommon! The staff is always there for anything I need, if something in my apartment breaks, the maintenance team always has it fixed within the same day! My room is so spacious and all the finishings look like they are super high quality. My favorite part about the building would have to be the amenity spaces! I use the gym and study lounge almost every day as well as the pool and hot tub. I have lived in 3 different luxury apartments and Uncommon has been the best one yet! I will for sure be renewing my lease

The management at this apartment building is extremely rude and makes residents feel uncomfortable. There is also many up charges that will occur if you live here. The building lacks many of the amenities it claims to have/provide. CA Ventures the company that owns this building/residence could care less of the residents concerns or complaints. It is extremely difficult to have a peaceful living at this location.

I regret choosing to live here. Maintenance is awful. It is so obvious they cut so many corners trying to finish this place on time. Everything is so cheap compared to the price I am paying, and everything seems to be falling apart. Would recommend you lol elsewhere. They promised a lot of things that they did not follow through with. Several people will say that we were promised guest parking, but we have no guest parking. It has almost been a month of living here and the printer just got set up. The tanning bed is still not working. You can find way better places for a way better price.
