Living in my community has been a truly peaceful experience. The atmosphere is calm, with a soft breeze that drifts through the trees, making it a perfect spot for relaxation. One of the best things about this place is its location—just a short walk from a beautiful park where I can enjoy nature, take long walks, or even have picnics with friends.       Move in went horrible. There was no guide or direction after moving in. I had to ask for gate codes, mail keys, storage keys, etc. All of that should have been prepared when I moved in. There was an attempted break in on my unit that involved police. This was the day after my neighbor told me someone tried to break into their apartment. This is likely due to the gates remaining open during the work day. Likely people walking in and looking for open apartments while people are at work. When first month’s rent came in, my partner’s bank had insufficient funds. This is because I made a mistake when setting this up on my own portal because my partner did not have access to their portal. In result, I was charged a $95 fee which I was required to pay. After asking for this to be waived, I was given a stern no. I then brought up the issues I’ve had since moving in and asked for some grace since I personally have given so much and I was met with another no.         my only gripe with the community is that I was charged $500+ dollars for my emotional support animal while I was waiting for my paperwork to arrive, but a week later there was a “pet amnesty day” that allowed others in violation of the lease to come register their pets with no penalty. I’m considering a lawsuit.

          No, I would not recommend living in the Haven Apartments, due to the unprofessional apartment manager they have on site named Sarah. Sarah is very unprofessional and does not need to be an apartment manager. She needs retraining in her customer service skills.

            Bad experience

            We had an awful experience with this company. The pool was never clean, gym machines were falling apart, and that was the least of our worries. Our roof had a leak that was 'fixed' 4 times. Our AC broke and was not fixed for a long time, causing our apartment to be over 100 degrees and causing us both to have dizzy spells. If we had family or friends in the area we would not have stayed, but we didn't have much of an option and knew they wouldn't assist us with finding temporary living. Then on top of it all, the company seems to be part of a scam, sneaking extra charges onto your bill and being unavailable when you call to sort it out. Sarah Wheeler was complicit in this, nickel and diming people. I always defended her to my roomate, saying it was probably the company and not her, but it became clear that she is not a nice person and that she was making things harder and purposely adding charges.               Love the quiet, small complex atmosphere. Staff is super helpful and friendly. Good amenities and events for residents. Love having the dog park for my dog and covered parking is a plus. It’s nice to be downtown but not have to deal with parking garages or high rises.

                The apartment style is very nice, love having two master bathrooms, old appliances are functioning okay and finishing do not keep the apartment well insulated. Management can be hard to reach, and unexpected fees are routinely added to our bills without communication from management.

                  Living in the haven was a good experience for me. It was my first time renting in the USA. I have learned so much about the system and the process of renting. The appartment complex by himself is well located in the city. It pretty quiet and welcoming place. Honestly, I feel home at the haven.

                    The upkeep of the grounds is subpar, at best. The pool looks disgusting outside of the couple months they maintain it, and usually appears dark green. The hot tub is meant to be available year round but its rarely maintained and basically unusable for most of the year as well. As for safety, sure there are multiple layers of gates. But probably the biggest problem with this apartment is deliveries can never get in. You need a special buzzer to open the gates so if you order food, fedex, ups, or amazon, someone has to go outside to the front gate and open it for them. I would guess 25% of my deliveries actually make it to the front door of my unit without my involvement and thats usually because someone else getting a package opens the gate first. Its also not been a very quiet community simply because the fire that happened before we moved in has led to construction noises constantly for months and months on a near daily basis. There's also massive construction going on right around the corner, so not exactly quiet.

                      Thank you for your review and allowing us the opportunity to address your concerns. We sincerely apologize for the pool being closed. We have been updating residents through the resident portal regarding the status of repairs. Unfortunately, we have been impacted by the ongoing national supply shortage and parts have been scarce and resulted in delays. Our latest communication is that the pool parts should be delivered to the repair company today or tomorrow and one of their service teams will be here Wednesday, 6/29 to install. Oncce that project is complete, our on-site team will be cleaning the pool and should have it opened one day next week. We will continue to update the progress through the Resident Portal. Regarding the entry gate, it is not necessary to meet guests at the gate. Each resident has a code to provide their guests and delivery services which will allow you to give them access and control who is coming & going remotely. If you have misplaced your code, please contact the leasing office and we can look that up for you. As for your concern about construction efforts in the area, we certainly cannot stop progress and downtown Oklahoma City is definitely growing. We are anticipating renovations of The Haven community to be complete early September. The homes are going to be beautiful and we are anxious for our residents to be able to see the finished project.                             I feel right at home here at The Haven! Beautiful, quiet complex with super spacious apartments. Move-in was painless (besides the actual moving part, of course). And I love that there are gates for the parking lot and for the walk-in entrance to the apartments, I feel very safe. Love my spot at The Haven!

                              The Haven has a great location and very fair pricing compared to the surrounding area. They would have the occasional food truck come in, which was pretty nice. I never had any real issues with the management except for their office staff not being in the office during working hours, even after calling to ensure that they would be available. During my lease the maintenance for community amenities like the pool and dog park was unfortunately subpar and off-putting. There was a substantial period of time where the complex's pool was filled with green algae. Not only was this a huge eye sore, but this was also during peak pool season. Additionally, the premises was almost always littered with dog poop. There were a few dog poop bag receptacles but these were not in convenient locations. I'm not even sure having more would have helped because the worst area was the dog park where the bags were easily accessible.

                                  This place has gone downhill despite the "improvements" that were made. The property management company that took over says they're committed to making this a better place to live, but their focus is on the facade, such as a dog park or planting fescue grass and landscaping outside the entrance and not resident safety. A new gate system was installed that hasn't worked at all. The gates remain open for anyone to come in. Lights in the corridors and staircases have been out for over a year and they haven't done anything to fix it. I tripped going down the stairs because it was so dark. Again, on the facade, this complex might look nice, but beyond that it's nothing special. Look at other downtown complexes for better treatment of residents. I am glad I moved out.

                                    We have mostly enjoyed living at The Haven. The things we would say haven't met our expectations I believe are some growing pains. For example the gate code is old and needs to be changed, but management said they are looking into it , but as of yet do not have a solution. The pool has been closed for like 2 weeks because the pump is old and keeps having problems, things like this.

                                          I believe That the Haven moving forward will improve the property and keep their tenants happy . I do like the improvements they made on the dog park .I would like to see a working sprinkler system and enhanced landscaping. A updated secure access for the four pedestrian gates would be great since two out of the four are not working .

                                                I called and made an appointment to come check out this complex. I thought the lady on the phone was really nice, and flexible. The complex was kept really nice and clean. I loved the pool area and the grill. That is something I would use in the summer. We saw some residents while walking around, they were friendly. I also drove by this place in the evening and it was pretty quiet. I have been to other complexes in other areas of downtown and the noise level was higher. The location has good walkability too.
