Four Years at Museum Place
I've lived at Museum Place since August 2008 and for the most part it's been great. The location is ideal, so convenient to anything downtown and the streetcar is just steps from the front door. There is ample storage, modern appliances and the high ceilings make even the small spaces in the studios seem bigger. Parking in the garage is never a problem and it's convenient to have Safeway right downstairs. However, the walls are paper thin and side to side noise can be a problem. I have had noisy neighbors but the problems were quickly handled by (former) management, resulting in evictions. Until January 2012 we had a fabulous management team headed up by Ben Merrill, who had been with the building since it opened in 2003. Our building was sold in the Fall of 2011 and now we are managed by Riverstone. There are too many issues and problems to list with the new management. I should have gotten a clue when next door neighbors moved from the building last November when they learned that Riverstone would be coming in. Now, three more friends have left the community and no one I talk to is happy. We are all gathering information about other buildings in the area and just waiting until our leases are up........................Share This Review
