We came in under previous management and really liked living at Museum Place. The new management team, however, has proven to be quite inept, and in my opinion, really patronizing and unfriendly.
CONS-
NOISE - You can hear the faucets turning, the beds squeaking, the computer keys clicking in your neighbors apartment. You might as well just knock the walls down and put up bunk beds. That's pretty ridiculous when you're paying $1300-$1500 per month for 600 sq feet of apartment.
Security deposit. The new management took 2/3rds of our security deposit for a tiny apartment with no pets, no carpet stains, no damage, and that had been fully cleaned at move-out. What does that say about how much they care about their tenants?
Guest parking - previous management had a short-term guest pass that was complimentary to tenants. New management charges you or your guest $20 per DAY to park while visiting you. In your extremely expensive apartment. That's just poor customer service policy.
PROS-
We loved living in downtown. Easy walking everywhere. Ok neighborhood (though lots of beggars outside of Safeway all the time). Safeway was convenient but really busy. We liked that our car was safe in the ramp, but we paid a LOT for that space.
Overall - we liked it fine and were willing to put up with the cons until new management came along and stopped giving us any reason to stay.
