The grounds are nice and the apartment size is decent. I appreciate the dog park. The gym is small, but adequate. The apartments are very convenient to the major roads. Now for the not-so-good: Snow removal this past winter was HORRIBLE. Maintenance showed up late to shovel, then removed only the bare minimum and left many pathways to such essentials as the dumpsters and mailboxes, covered with snow and ice. Stairs to the parking lots were also left covered with ice. The snow and ice stayed there until the weather grew warm enough to melt them away. The electric bills will be very expensive. PECO, or whoever, does not bill you directly. You are billed by a Korman company, and that bill will almost certainly be a good deal higher than you are used to. A lot of us suspect the Korman is padding the bill. Lighting is poor in many outdoor areas. Noise is a problem, particularly if you are on the 1st floor -- pray for reasonably quiet neighbors, otherwise hope you enjoy their taste in loud music, because management does not want to get involved. Maintenance -- well, they may show up promptly to fix a problem; then again, they may not. Finally, Korman seems to have lowered its standards over the past year or so and is letting in some people who are loud, dirty, etc.
