Resident ā€¢ 2013

Don't do it. An honest statement of Pros and Cons below about Village Square in Bensalem. Some may seem like tiny I convinces, but they really add up. It's the small things that matter. Pros Pool is actually pretty nice. Great highway access. Neighbors are nice. Cons Parking is horrible. Appliances are old, very energy inefficient, unsafe, and barely functional. On a typical 90 degree summer day, expect the AC unit (circa 1970) to run 24 hours and the apartment "may" cool to 83 degrees and cost a small fortune at that. Show apartments are beautiful, and in a beautiful court. Your apartment will not be there and will not be that nice. Of course this is the court where the management office is. Tour the place yourself!!! Management obviously cares more about making money than anything else. They invest almost nothing in maintaining the complex. Hence the ineffiecent applicances that end up costing you lots of money on you electric bills. 12 months ago, hurricane bright down 3 trees in the court and there have been 3 ugly holes out front of the door. In addition have many pot holes and need to be paved barely. Although bugs don't bother me much, there seems to be a lot of the big ugly ones in the summer. We saw exterminators a few times around the complex, but we didn't notice any difference. A single day late paying rent and you are hit with a $75 late fee. $75 is a bit steep if you ask me.

Thank you for your recent feedback. We are currently in the process of replacing those trees downed by the storm. Our goal is to provide our residents with exceptional customer service and a comfortable place to call home. Regarding your electricity costs, please note that the apartment homes at Village Square are entirely electric, including heat and hot water. Of course, each home is billed for the resident's individual usage, which varies depending on consumption. Our rental payment policy allows for a 5-day grace period during which no late charge is assessed. This grace period should allow ample time for a mailed rent check to reach our office. For your convenience, we also accept rent payments at our management office. Once again, thank you for sharing your thoughts with us so that we can continue to make improvements, ensuring the best in apartment living for our residents. Please feel free to stop by our office if you have any additional concerns.
