Village Square,formerly a Korman property, has been my home for over a decade. The complex looks like a series of townhouses, not apartments which is nice. All brick, each Court is separate from the next. You will share a common door with an upstairs or downstairs neighbor, and don't need to worry about unfamiliar faces wandering around a big building. The grounds are very pretty with many shrubs, trees, and daffodils in the Spring. There is a clubhouse to use the internet and gym which attaches to the pool seasonally. Lifeguards manage the pool which is open May through Labor Day. The complex is very quiet and suburban, but is situated within walking distance of grocery stores and major department stores like Kohls.Interstate 95 is a mile away. There are at least 4 local churches, one synagogue and a Buddhist temple within 5 miles.I have sent my children through the Bensalem schools here, which are both safe and well run.There are many places for kids nearby as each school has a field and the schools are nearby.This community is quiet and safe.Apartment upkeep is handled quickly in my opinion and grounds upkeep is done on a regular and consistent basis.As tastes and apartment size vary, I would recommend seeing an apartment for yourself. But it is well worth your time. The office staff are nice people, I have never had an issue that has not been resolved to my satisfaction.I would recommend Village Square to anyone considering an apartment community that is close to Philadelphia, yet still has a suburban feel to it.
