I have been living at Village Square for over 6 months now, and its been a pretty good experience. I honestly don't understand all of these reviews that trash the place. I looked at a lot of apartments in Bensalem and these were by far the best ones available.
The whole leasing process was easy and fast. The leasing manager was very accommodating, and was instrumental in my decision to lease here. She went above and beyond checking in with me and making sure my move-in was successful.
The neighbors in my court are really nice, respectful of each other, and always say hello. I think this is a definite reflection of the rigorous qualifications you have to meet to be able to rent here. They are not renting to just anyone who walks in off the street and that makes a HUGE difference.
My only negative experience is the maintenance staff. They are pretty awful and 85% of the time just put a band aid on the problem, and call it finished. Unfortunately, these are old apartments and in desperate need of real updating and repair, starting with the individual HVAC units.
