Depends on Actual Apartment
Maintenance were nice and pretty quick to respond to calls BUT they never once completed a job fully on a single visit. We got flooded several times from issues with the upstairs apartment and they simply dried the carpet with a fan and never replaced it or the underlay as promised. We had MANY attempts to fix our AC/Heating which got so loud that my chest would vibrate with the noise (not joking!). The door to the utilities was also in the 2nd BR and there was a 2" gap in the wall which meant we had to completely seal the door to keep the room warm. Fixtures are old; paint is so cheap that your dishes stick to it and the doors stick (or else don't close properly). Forget cleaning the laundry area, as the lint just seems to get kicked into the AC unit rather than filtered outside and sticks to the wall. Silverfish were a problem in the 1st apartment but not the 2nd. However, we had ants in our apartments.

Electricity is ridiculously expensive and we are now paying less than 1/4 in our new apartment compared to what we paid at Village Square.

I liked the office staff and never had any problems with them.

We lived in a couple of apartments in this place and our experience with the smaller apartment was GREAT (very minimal maintenance issues) but the 2nd (larger) apartment was much older and showed it. I believe you need to see the apartment you rent with this place as your experience will depend on that. The courtyards are nice in the summer to sit out in.
