Really enjoyed living here for over a year until we had new neighbours upstairs. They were heavy drug users and had two young children use the upstairs like a wrestling ring, never having a moment of peace and quiet. This problem was exacerbated by the fact that we are under quarantine and had to live and work from home 24 hours a day. The leasing office could not do anything about this and after many attempts of negotiating and talking to the neighbours things only proceeded to get worse. We decided to transfer, upon transferring it wasn't communicated to us properly that our security deposit wasn't going to cover our previous apartment, we are still waiting on the charges they decide to make us pay for, which is going to be a nasty surprise. Good place to live, but doesn't do a good job of screening people who live here to make it a desirable community to live in. I have talked to many decent people who experienced the same thing. I might reccomend starting investigating cases and taking complaints seriously. Instead of being toothless about these things, giving warnings and then fines based on innapropriate behavior would go a long way. Overall it is a nice place to live if your upstairs or downstairs neighbors are amenable. The location is strategic and you can get anywhere in the area quickly.
