Great apartment, great service, and great location

The Roe at Manayunk consists of nice clean well positioned apartments that offer a wide-range of benefits not seen in other apartments and housing available in Manayunk. The Roe has invested in having very efficient technology that allows easy entrance for guest to the building, control over your apartments temp from your phone, easy bill-paying, and just a very nice place to live overall. The place is clean, people are friendly, and is located in a walkable distance to all the good stuff Manayunk has to offer.

BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE at THE ROE!!!

WE LOVE our apartment at The Roe in Manayunk! Everything is spotless, beautiful, and of the highest quality! The on-site rental consultant (Aleyna) makes everything come together for us here! She coordinates all aspects of lease signing; interfaces any issues with PECO, and internet providers to ensure a seamless transition! Aleyna is always available to answer any question and makes sure we feel at home! here. THANK YOU ALEYNA!!

Just this past week, we toured the property with four real estate professionals who regularly visit newly constructed multifamily communities. To a person, they were absolutely awe-struck. Each praised the construction quality and stunning finishes. One remarked, I would love to live here, while another shared, I was speechless seeing the completed property for the first time. I toured it with you almost exactly a year ago when much of the former school building was still under renovation but even after that, this is beyond anything I could have imagined. Our entire team takes great pride in being part of this extraordinary development. The craftsmanship and materials are second to none. Amazing place to live!!

I would highly recommend living here! The apartments are brand new and beautifully done. The staff is top notch. Aleyna (the onsite property manager) does such a great job making you feel welcome and at home. The location is also great. You can walk to all the restaurants, bars, etc. in Manayunk in minutes and there is a gated parking lot onsite so you don’t ever have to worry about finding a spot. Can’t say enough great things about living here!

I’ve lived at the Roe for about 6 months and have been impressed with every aspect. The management team is responsive and communicative. And everything about the building is incredibly well thought out. It’s obvious that they spent the long dollar when it was being built and invested in quality that would last. The recently completed gym is fantastic and just another example of management doing things the right way from the start. You’d be hard pressed to find anything else in the area than can come close.

With the completion of The ROE s amenities, our management team has had the opportunity to welcome several industry leaders for tours of the buildings, grounds, and common areas. Most recently, the Eastern U.S. representatives of two national brands took independent visits and couldn t contain their excitement. They were genuinely thrilled that their brands are associated with a development as significant as The ROE. On a more personal note, each member of our team has proudly brought their own families through the property to show them the role they played in its construction. That alone speaks volumes about the pride we have in this community. It s a meaningful tribute when a craftsman feels so connected to their work that they bring loved ones to see it especially on a day off. Just this past week, I gave my wife a personal tour. Living at the Roe

Management at the Roe has been amazing! Very responsive and always ready to help with anything I bring up. Josh and Aleyna in particular have been incredibly welcoming and helpful since I’ve moved in. I always get a response quickly from Josh when I reach out which I greatly appreciate. Alongside management, the actual buildings and apartments themselves are beautiful. All are unique but contain the same charm and appeal. It has been an amazing place to live so far and would recommend it to anyone looking for an apartment in the area.

Thanks Mia. The buildings we re-purposed, in my opinion, sets the standard by which all other multifamily historic renovations will be measured in the future. We have been true in our reconstruction to the historic exterior character of the buildings that date back as early at the middle 1800 s (prior to the Civil War), and created interiors that while extremely modern compliment the buildings exteriors. The buildings are designed with a focus on how we work at home, relax, and prepare food and do such mundane tasks as laundry. We focused on using the volumes (3D) spaces as well as the 2D space. We gave particular attention to energy efficiency and sustainable design which is apparent just by walking the three interior parks we built, or looking up at the roof line to our massive solar panel arrays. We made bicycles storage and walkways a principal design criteria, and as you will shortly see, we created an amenity area that will rival any you have ever seen, as we strongly believe in healthy life styles. Our buildings are both people and pet friendly. Behind the great construction team, is an amazing support staff for leasing, management and maintenance. Josh and Aleyna care deeply about the residents, and the resident experience. It s not unusual for management to get multiple emails and text messages from one or both of them up to midnight about something that needs to be done for a resident. This is a boutique community that I m very proud of. It would be impossible to replicate another Roe at Manayunk, but we will take lessons form what we learned and adapt them into future developments. Thanks for taking the time to write a review. This is the best way we can reach the general public to let them know about our community and the men and women who worked to create and now maintain the community. AMAZING attention to design, functionality and comfort = DREAM APARTMENT

When my husband first suggested Manayunk as the neighborhood for our retirement to Philadelphia, I was skeptical. When we came to the Open House at The Roe (last October), I was converted. We loved the idea of living in a restored historical building and the vision the company has for creating a community that would stand out in an already valued neighborhood. We committed to our apartment having only seen the virtual tour and have NO regrets. The attention to detail and the architectural design exceeded our expectations. We had to downsize a LOT (from our house in NJ) to move into this space and the layout of our apartment - including varying ceiling heights and lots of windows - makes it seem more spacious (than square footage would indicate). The management team has been super helpful, throughout the several months of waiting for the apartment to be available as well during our moving in. It is obvious they care about the tenants. We are already quite happy here and looking forward to enjoying the other amenities as they are completed. They REALLY got this right!!!

Thanks for the wonderful review. The Roe is unlike any other apartment community that has ever known or visited. It is a boutique community spread over three streets in which all of the buildings are connected through walking paths. It is a community which has three internal electronically gated parks strictly for the enjoyment of our residents that provide benches located in nooks and groupings for quiet contemplation, or group conversations surrounded by greenery. The buildings use the latest energy saving insulation materials. The materials for the Roe literally were sourced in three continents. We took several years to plan these buildings. It blends historic preservation, with ultra-modern finishes. The work was tiring, exhausting and complicated. The professionals that planned the community stand out in my mind as being the best of the best. The workmen and women took on their tasks as if they were building their own home. They poured their wisdom, hearts and talent into the design. The buildings radiate excellence. The current residents took a leap of faith when they signed their leases, most did so without seeing a completed building. It s so nice to hear how pleased residents like your family are. We will shortly open our amenity area, and I m certain everyone will be overwhelmed at the beauty, functionality and many features. The Roe attracted amazing families, like your family. Exceptional team, exceptional home

I recently moved in and have had such a wonderful experience from the very beginning, largely thanks to Aleyna from the management team. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel incredibly welcome, and her attention to detail throughout the entire process, from my first tour to move-in day, made everything feel so seamless and comfortable. The building itself stands out as refreshingly contrarian, with custom finishes and thoughtful design details you simply won't find in your typical apartment complex. Since moving in, the entire staff has continued to exceed my expectations. Greg and Josh have been absolutely wonderful, and everyone on the team has gone out of their way to make me feel at home. It's clear that the management team genuinely cares about their residents, creating a boutique-like experience that is both personal and inviting. The top-tier security features throughout the units and campus also brings me a strong sense of peace and safety. I have previously lived in a building that considered themselves a luxury high-rise, but nothing compares to the experience at The Roe. The attention to detail, warmth of the team, and overall atmosphere make it feel truly exceptional.

Great place to live

Thanks for taking the time to tell other families about the Roe at Manayunk. We are definitely not your traditional apartment building. There is nothing cookie cutter or non-descript about the buildings and community. The buildings are a historic renovation of a former parish that included a school, church, rectory and large open parking lots. The community is developed as a campus. Tremendous care has been spent in taking magnificent but tired old buildings (some nearly 200 years old) and repositioning them into ultra sophisticated living space. They are designed with a great deal of thought as to how people work and live. Built to the highest of standards for energy efficiency and sound control. They feature volume ceilings, high end finishes, massive windows. The community has three parks, and soon the amenity area will open to our residents. I could write pages and pages about the unique features. This is community that all others will be measured against. It s very special, and as I observe and listen to our new residents move in, I am convinced that that we have attracted some very special families to bring life to the buildings I and my fellow team members have worked so hard to build. We have an amazing staff of men and women to support the construction, maintenance and leasing. They are very talented, and as you now know, care deeply about this community and its residents. I recently moved into The Roe, and the experience has been nothing short of amazing. From the moment I arrived, Aleyna and Bo were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The Roe at Manayunk

My entire experience with The Roe has been nothing short of amazing. From the beginning, starting with the tour of building and units, Aleyna was extremely thorough. She started with the history of the buildings as well as the thought behind the details of the construction. The units are built with such high quality, with everything from lights under the cabinets to water saving toilets. The application process was also easy and quick. The day I moved in, Aleyna was there to walk me through all the details of my unit, as well as the details of the building. She made the process seamless from start to end. Not only that, but even after I moved in, she made sure to follow up with any questions and concerns I had. I have lived in over 5 cities and rented many different units. I will say this has been by far the best experience, with leasing as well as property management. I feel extremely safe and taken care of at The Roe.

Thanks for the wonderful and articulate review of the Roe and by association our management team. Building the Roe has been a very long, difficult, arduous and rewarding journey. The final product is over the top. We kept the historic flavor of the buildings exteriors, but built the interior of the apartments to match the most luxurious apartments in the city. We designed the community as sustainable, energy efficient, with great parking, 13 to 20 foot high soaring ceilings (in the majority of apartments), custom cabinetry and fixtures, a gym which will be the envy of the most fervent gym rats, a doggie wash center and three internal parks just mention some of the many features. I personally have been involved from the planning to the construction, through today. I am still overwhelmed and excited each and every time I walk the buildings hallways and apartments. This community brought together the most talented men and women I have ever worked with in my 47 years in the business. The desire to build something extraordinary infected all the craftsmen and women from day one, and continues to this day. I haven t heard a single visitor that doesn t use the words amazing or wow. There will never be another development like this; it s truly a (green) campus in the heart of Manayunk (1+ block from the train and Main Street). In my role within our company, I do not get a chance to meet the residents, but our staff consistently raves about how nice they are. Together, the residents are making the Roe the go to address in the City. Thanks for mentioning our rental consultants and your satisfaction with both the staff and your new home. As you continue life at the Roe, you will meet more and more of our team. I m do very proud of the Roe, our team and the incredible craftsman that worked to build the Roe.
