Very well cultivated. Clean, and very well managed. The gym is always open, and the staff is very informative. Parking spots are alittle tight, but for the most part, OK. Parking in the garage is very convenient

    Some good, some bad. The community is quiet and maintained well. The common areas are clean and the amenities are good. The community offers connected covered parking which is great in the winter. Some of the fitness center equipment is old and needs replacement. The appliances in the units (dishwasher, washer and dryer) are all low end models and old. I have been in my apartment for 2.5 years and have had three significant roof leaks. In two of those cases, industrial dryers had to be used to remove water from the drywall. I have never been properly compensated for the inconvenience of these events.

      It's very quiet and peaceful although things seem to be dark n gloomy. Overall the amenities are much appreciated. I like living here and the parking accommodations are awesome. Recently my dishwasher and microwave does not work

        Great location. Close to retail, grocery stores, restaurants, & medical facilities. Grounds are well maintained. Maintenance is superb. Common areas are beautiful. Office staff are responsive & friendly. All ages are welcome. It's a nice place to live.

          I enjoy living here. The amenities are taken care of. Maintenance requests are handled promptly. There are opportunities to meet your neighbors. It's fairly quiet. The location for living in the South Hills is convenient.

            The maintenance staff is incredibly helpful, especially if you are not handy yourself. The office staff are friendly and professional and there is a wide representation of different people who are willing to share their unique culture if approached.

              The Ashby at South Hills Village is extremely clean, safe, close to restaurants, shopping, and transportation. It is very well maintained and managed. It is stress free living at its finest. If a maintenance issue arises, our team is notified and it is addressed almost if not immediately.

                Great community amenities and staff. People live in here are friendly and very courteous to one another. Enjoyed meeting new friends in the years that I've been living here. look forward tomorrow years in this community. I recommended highly to others.

                  This is a nice community with great people in it. The downside to this apartment is that the amenities are always broken; coffee machine breaks all the time, grills and fireplace were broken all summer and couldn't be used, and gym equipment barely works you can't connect to the work out tv and the equipment is average for how much we are paying here.

                    The location is good, apartment is spacious and quiet on the top floor. Maintenance is friendly and quick. Appliances, however, could be upgraded. The painting is kept up to date but the stairwells need to be refreshed.

                      The grounds of the apartment buildings and the common areas are very clean. Maintenance is fast and they do a good job. The people who run the place know your name and are very friendly. The only down side is the parking.

                        The Ashby is a wonderful place to live! The people who live here are all wonderful and very friendly! Management and staff are fantastic! Anytime I call them they are there and fix the problem immediately. They truly are amazing! The Club House is beautiful; they have a really nice workout area, and a beautiful pool! The common area and grounds are all kept clean and always maintained. It's a wonderful place to call home! You won't be disappointed!

                            The Ashby is a very nice apartment complex. The people are very polite and friendly. The apartments are very nice and functional. The fitness center has all the right equipment and is well organized. The Luxer One package pick up works very well. The landscaping is beautiful. Maintenance is excellent. The office staff is helpful and friendly. The location is excellent. All in all a great place to live.

                                The actual Apartments and the maintenance team are amazing. All maintenance requests are handled quickly and efficiently. I really appreciate their work. The management team is nice but they are extremely difficult to reach via phone and sometimes email. The facilities are many times not working. For example, both outdoor grills were out of service the whole summer. Even the replacement grill would be out of propane right at the start of the weekend. Some of the gym equipment is also not functioning properly. Overall, nice place to live but maybe too expensive for the broken and unusable amenities mentioned above.

                                  Great location. Maintenance is quick to respond. I think the pool should be open longer maybe 9am - 9pm. Not having the grills available all summer is ridiculous. Appreciate they finally supplied one propane grill, but for the price we're paying there should be grills and firepit. Sometimes staff is not very friendly.

                                    Very clean, and comfortable. The property is beautiful and well-kept. The staff is solution oriented and maintenance is excellent. I've never felt unsafe. The building is very secure as well as the grounds. I feel completely safe here.

                                      Pros: Very close walking distance to the mall, train station, and a nearby park. Pool is nice. Gym is pretty good for an apartment building. We have to put in lots of maintenance requests, but they are quick to respond and fix the problem.

                                          I am very happy with the courteous and staff here at the Ashby. They are verry responsive to any problems that come about and respond immediately.. The place is very clean and very well run. I had a problem with my bank which failed to send the rent check timely, a late fee was charged but was quickly refunded and applied to my next montly payment.

                                            The Ashby is conveniently located to a wonderful upscale mall, actually walking distance, a stop for the fast light rail system to downtown Pittsburgh, the grounds are maintained beautifully and overall convenient to food markets and restaurants. All personnel are caring and provide very quick response time to any and all residents issues.

                                              The location is extremely convenient. There are shopping, medical services, restaurants and grocery stores all within a very small radius. The pool is a very welcome amenity. More handicap parking spaces would be very helpful.
