I originally called to set up a tour and the Leasing manager was very nice and helpful. When I came for the tour, she was amazing. She explained all of the things that I needed to know, showed me the different units. She also explained a lot of special offers and their easy ways to rent. she was extremely knowledgeable and was able to explain to me everything to where I had no questions!

I've lived here for 13 1/2 years and I do have a dog and she loves it here, she is also 13 and it is ideal if you have a dog. i've been here 13 years so it's obvious I have enjoyed my stay so far. The people that I've come across here seem to be very nice and I have great neighbors.

A good place to live. Close to everything. Shower isn't that great because the water changes pressure and goes hot and cold. The maintance department does a pretty good job answering calls in a timely fashion. X

I've loved living at The Dorchester. Office staff is very professional and friendly. The maintenance staff is professional and complete their work usually within 24 hrs. Only complaint? Need larger recycling bins.

Everything seems ok, the only problems I get are with flying gnats & bugs and since I moved in complained about rugs, told office the rugs were fraying by the door, sliding glass door, seams & by the seams did not do correct. I suggest that they put a light on ceiling when you come in.

My boyfriend and I moved in March of 2024. We have had nothing but an amazing experience. The buildings & our complex were clean. Any work that needed to be done was completed very quickly and efficiently by maintenance. The office keeps everyone up to date via email and social media. They're very kind, helpful, and approachable with any issues. Rent is extremely affordable, and their pet policy is great! We could not have asked for anything better than what we've experienced here at Dorchester.

I have been here at the Dorchester of Southampton since 2016. The management has been very competent, professional and friendly. Anytime something needed to be fixed in the apartment, it was done as quickly as possible. Things have changed with leasing since 2016. Where everything was included in the rent except electric, we now have to pay for all utilities that are included in the rent. Electric is still on an individual basis. Though the grounds are consistently well kept, some residents continue to have their dogs eliminate on the lawn in front of my apartment. They appear to ignore the rules of the complex. Since safety all over has been a growing concern, I would appreciate the owner considering upgrading the doors with locks or security codes. It might be an added expense, however, I have already moved from a complex where there was a shooting and this would be a relief tot he people in this communitiy.

Nice place to live! It is quiet, and well maintained. I always have a place to park my car. Friendly neighbors who keep to themselves. Paying rent is easy through the renters' portal, and you can take advantage of the Flex Rent to split your rent payments!

The dorchester apartments in southampton are nice. I like the sliding glass doors and patio that each unit has. I get to enjoy sitting outside in my own space which most apartments don't offer. Makes it feel more like a home.
