Spring table decorations can give your meal a festive and colorful look. When entertaining in spring, coordinate your table linen, centerpieces and dishes to make the meal a celebration. Here are three ideas for spring table decorations:
1. Use Colorful Linens
Choose a tablecloth in a bright shade and/or a floral print. If the tablecloth is printed, use solid colored napkins and if the tablecloth is solid, use bold patterned napkins. A lacy tablecloth can also look beautiful. The dishes should also have floral prints to complement the tablecloth and napkins.
2. Centerpiece
Use bright flowers as a centerpiece. Alternatively, you can place grass in a tray and place easter bunnies and eggs on the grass to make a unique centerpiece. A crystal vase or an assortment of glass containers in different shapes, colors and sizes can make attractive centerpieces as can a birdcage filled with flowers. Candles in some of the glass containers can add fragrance and light to the table, and the rest of the glass containers can be filled with brightly colored stones or marbles to provide color.
3. Place Cards and Favors
Plant clay flower pots with flowers such as pansies or primroses. Mark out the names of guests on the pots with a piece of chalk and place them on the table at intervals to create place cards and favors. Alternatively, you can use vases with flowers as place cards and favors. Other spring card holders that can also serve as favors include doves, flowers and fruits made of glass.
The ideas mentioned above are inexpensive and easy. Using them can give your table a fresh look and liven up the party.
