Use of the Kitchen Wall

With the limited floor space, the kitchen wall offers valuable additional room for your microwave, larder, shelves and racks. Wherever possible, use also the corner walls to set racks on if you still need space. You can also use the wall to install a foldable table. Don’t overdo things, as you can also over clutter the wall and make a small space feel even smaller.

Clutter

Because of the limited space, it’s easy to clutter up the area. Check the floor plan where the power outlets are located and then make your design with graceful, clean lines, always keeping in mind efficiency and safety. Arrange the appliances and furniture well and offer enough room for the cook to conveniently work. If possible, set the three big appliances of refrigerator, sink and stove in close proximity to each other for easy reach when cooking. Watch for safety; for instance, don’t install the stove immediately behind a door (which, when suddenly opened, may knock the cook off guard). Keep in the kitchen only what you really need and move to the next room those you can afford to put at a distance. 

Light and Bright Paints and Colors

Use light and bright colors for the walls, the furnishings as well as the appliances. This will help brighten up the space and make it look bigger. Dark colors will make the area gloomy and feel more enclosed.

Lighting 

If possible, use the placement and amount of windows to let natural light in to perk up the kitchen.
