Friendly staff, great maintenance

Maintenance is always quick to fix any issues that arise and is super friendly. My shower has been leaking on and off for months and any time it does Jason is on top of it. He leaves notes letting me know what he did. Super friendly too

Relocated from Miami

Moving from Miami was a huge deal for me. Coming to place I knew nothing about. I found West Wind Townhomes and I felt like this was the right place for me. I moved in sight unseen, just based off pictures and the professionalism from the staff. Ashley made this process so easy. I had my dad come by and look at the place prior to my arrival, after he showed pictures of what needed to be updated, I reached out to Ashley and she had every single thing done before I arrived. There were no hassles or push back. After being here for the first month, I put in a request for repair on my bottom step inside the home, Jason came the very next day, and repaired the step, he even went the extra mile to remove the whole step to give me a peace of mind that there was no access inside my home from under the step for critters to come in. Then I put in a request for my dish washer, and just like clock work, Jason was on the job. He spent the day with me lol getting it cleaned and repaired. They have made my relocation move better than I could have imagined. I asked for new screens on the window and the bush next to my door to be removed, before the week was out, it was done. I would recommend anyone that’s looking to move, to stop by West Wing Townhomes. They care about their tenants and it’s truly appreciated. Oh yeah, it’s so peaceful here.

Great Place to Stay!

We have been residents of West Winds Townhomes for almost a year now and it’s been a great place to live. It’s a quiet community with friendly people. The maintenance guy, Jason is amazing. He will go above and beyond to solve any issues we have. Ashely in the office is also a great person who makes sure that we are taken care of. With them in office it makes it more enjoyable to stay here.

Great place!

I have really enjoyed living at West Winds Townhomes. The 2 bedroom unit is just the right size for my young son and I. We love having access to the Harbison Community Center across the street as well as the community trails all throughout the neighborhood. Maintenance and management are very friendly and prompt with addressing issues. Would definitely recommend living here!

Greatest Townhomes

My kids and I simply love it here. Management is always nice and helpful. She has the best snacks for the kiddos when I come in. People are so nice. The nature trail is close and the community center too. Just simply a Great place to call home

Jason the maintenance supervisor goes above and beyond to fix things for the tenants. He is often here late at night working to resolve issues and get vacant units ready for new tenants. After living here almost 4 years, Jason is by far the most responsive to resident needs.

Wonderful property awesome experience

I stopped by on the weekend, and the office was closed on Saturdays, but I decided to check this place out anyway. I was very impressed with how clean the property was. I was also able to speak with a couple residents that were out and about, and they had nothing but positive things to say about living here. One said it was pretty quiet and the other said office staff was awesome. I figured this was sound advice considering they live here. They also told me about some trails that lead down to the lake which I got a chance to see briefly. So pretty. I've narrowed down the places I'd like to tour once we move to Columbia at the beginning of the year, and this is one of them. These apartments are close to everything. I work in PR and I felt that this was such a good experience getting such positive feedback from residents and in seeing what they have to offer. I can't wait for the actual tour.

Horrible renting experience! The unit was in really poor condition and everything was getting done last minute. We were not allowed to see the unit in person before submitting application and were promised a really nice revamped unit. When we finally were allowed to see the unit, it was in horrible condition. We declined the unit and asked their management to receive a refund on the admin fee and they agreed. They never refunded us. I followed up several times a week and they never replied and ignored my phone calls and voicemails. Obviously they lied. Stay away!!!. Bad management people and low class property!

I've just moved in but everything has been great thus far! The move-in process was smooth and staff was very accommodating to ensure it went well. The apartment is clean and the appliances are new and works great. The size of the three bedroom is perfect for a family of four. I love the kitchen size and the openness of the kitchen, dining, room and living room area, The patio area is not large but it is big enough to grill out and it has a great size storage closet out there too. I am used to living off of a highway so the noise does not bother me but there are times when you can hear the highway, specifically if a fire truck or ambulance has their sirens going. The fire department and police station is not far so I think the noise just comes when they are dispatched but it never lasts long, just a passing by noise. The neighbors are great and all seem to give everyone their privacy while making sure they are not making too much of their own noise. I love the way the area is in a cul-de-sac. I feel that is safer for the kids as people cannot speed through the area because they cannot drive through our neighborhood to get somewhere else. The location is great right down the street from large mall, Walmart, restaurant, lowes, etc. The location is close enough to get there within a two-three minutes but far enough away where you do not have the traffic at your front door. I would describe the area as a nicely hidden community. The staff has been wonderful thus far as well. I feel like this is a great, quiet, community and I am excited to make it my home for the near future. There are some creeks in the floor when you walk upstairs but it is an older complex. However, the way everything is set up and upgraded it looks very modern. Love it so far!

since the day we moved in nickki did nothing but mislead us and lie to us from what kind of apt we were moving into to temp services going to get all work done she took care of nothing we we moved in the apt was filthy spent $ dollors in cleaning supplies she stated it smelled clean so she thought it was she did not inspect it she gave us several dates when someone would be here waited all day they never showed all she would say is sorry guys there is a new manager here and she is great very impressed

The community is very peaceful and quiet. However, there are some older apartments that needs to be updated. The kitchen cabinets and counters are very worn. The maintenance guy is very slack when it comes to improvements. The property manager is just amazing!!

It hasn't been bad but there are some things that need to be fixed or that they should tell us before we move. A size queen box spring does not fit up the stairs in any of the apartments that are two floors. And they need to keep up with the areas that flood in order for the apartments to not flood.

The place is ok but nothing special. If you order a lot online expect to wait a few days to get packages because the rental office is a hit or miss related to being opened. They sign for your package and it sits there until you are off work and they happen to be there.

Our apartment experience has been a one of a kind adventure. There have been good times and there have been bad times. The apartment itself is beautiful and spacious with suave back splashes and gorgeous countertops. Kim has for the most part maintained great communication and helped me get my questions answered in person on numerous occasions. The move in process was quick, eazy and finished in a day with no promises broken and Kim managing to work with me to change the plans and so forth. Some of the lows have been the sinks not properly working for a few days yet the water got fixed within the week and I have confidence in the West Winds family in working with us to fix these issues in order to make this experience perfect.

I transferred here from Missouri and my first thought was that it was a little like my own home but then the problems began and have not ended. I was in one unit which needed some work done on my punch list. I ended up writing a nasty letter regarding the problems not being resolved and was moved to an upgraded unit. ;s been four months since that move and not all the items on the punch list are complete. In Missouri, you paid a cheaper price and your maintenance was superb. Not here!!! When they remodeled, it was done halfa***. It was like the contractor just rushed to do it and didn't take pride. When I brought up my concerns, I was told that he's the only one that does all types of fixing instead of different subcontractors. My gutters need cleaned badly and my ceilings look as if they are going to fall apart. It is to the point that complaining does nothing. You are paying almost $1000 a month with no amenities. No pool or workout area. Oh wait, you can get a free membership to the Rec Ctr., big whoopy deal. Then there is the dog poop issues. One resident has two huskys and never picks up after then and my neighbor allows her dog to just go where ever. He even pooped in the middle of the sidewalk and I almost stepped in it on my way to work. I would love to suggest a letter go out to all residents but that will never happen. Parking sucks. People have old cars or cars they don't drive taking up spaces, so when I get home late, I am walking halfway across the parking lot in the dark. When it rains, my sidewalk gets flooded so you have to become an olympic gymnast and walk the beam to keep your feet dry. I did ask about that getting resolved some how, threatening that if I end up falling and breaking my ankle trying to stay dry, I would be consulting a lawyer and they would pay for my time off work and medical expenses. Yes, everyone is nice and its very quiet but come on, sometimes it's just not enough. Unfortunately when they moved me to a new unit, my lease was automatically renewed, otherwise I would be leaving in May. So come October, I plan on purchasing my own home so my payment is alot less and my repairs will be done correctly without waiting a year.

Here on a short term lease for work. Pros; the office management easy to work with, easy application process. Location is convenient to major interstates as well as local shopping. Cons, a little outdated, but overall worth the price.

Don't rent here. My ceiling has been falling in since October 15 2016 and nothing has been done about it yet. And my truck was broken into while sitting in front of my apartment. Plus every time it rains bugs come in from somewhere.

It's still overall nicer than most, but over the years has declined a little. It's safe, small and quiet which I like a lot. I think it's a little pricey for what I have, but I don't seem to have much control over that. Utilities are too high.

It has been a great year at West Wind. The apartment is beautiful, the grounds are kept clean, and the staff is amazing. I would recommend West Wind to anyone that wants to enjoy where the live and feel like it is a home and not just an apartment.
