We have lived at Homestead at Hartness since Christmas of 2014. We love living here for so many reasons. The property has much to offer. We use all of the facilities and property including the preserve, dog park, fitness center, lodge, lakes and pool. The buildings and grounds are impeccably clean and well maintained. The monthly resident events are fun and a great way to fellowship. The neighbors in our cul-de-sac, for the most part, have been long term residents. The maintenance team and property management team are very responsive and eager to please. It's very dog friendly with the dog park and the fields, trails and woods to walk. We have made many friends here and highly recommend Homestead as a rental community. Hands down the best in Greenville.

      don't be fooled by the quaintness of the neighborhood or it's amenities. Pool is too small for the size of neighborhood. Although the fitness center is very nice, the personal trainer has their business inside the fitness center and usually using most of the equipment in the mornings while they train paying customer who live in and outside of the community. They have a 'club-house' and boats for use on the pond, however you can only use these amenities when the office is open during regular business hours M-F and till 5 on Saturdays. Who is available to use the boats or rent the clubhouse during the day while most everyone is at work or part of the day on Saturday? They are closed on Sundays. They used to provide on-site security officers, but they are now gone as well as the one dwelling that was available for nightly rentals for extra guests. They keep changing the rules without notice. If you don't mind paying extra for a garage, overpaying for water ($75/month for 2 people!) jockeying for a parking spot like you have to when you live in the city or have… See More>
