I feel like the Homestead is unwilling to spend what it takes to maintain a property to the standard of most tenants. Part of the appeal here is the fact that it is houses where you do not have to maintain things yourself. That would be awesome if someone else was doing what most people do with their own homes. They aren't. The grounds are nice but the bushes, roses, hydrangas and other plants are not well maintained. The best features here are porches and space to walk. The cabinets are poorly designed with a bad finish. They have tiny drawers, tiny doors, wide faceplates....large dinner plates have to be titled to fit inside. Pans even more so. They ding easily with light marks that really show and they do not touchup well. Granite countertops are a plus but shallow overmount sinks and leaky low quality faucets make everyday of all sinks a bit hard. No light fixtures in the bedrooms is sad. Especially since they are well wired for fans and the contractor pack that could be installed is cheap. Even a $15 overhead light in each room would help. The master bath being the only bath downstairs - thus shared with guests - is also poor. It is also a small master with less storage than any other master bath I saw when shopping this price point. The upstairs bath is huge and well designed (except the small overmount sinks and same cabinet issues). Unfortunately, it is not accessible from a hallway so not good for guests which forces them to use the downstairs master. You should also show the actual home being leased instead of the model since the model is so much nicer than the worn homes. At least that way, people would be choosing to live here based on accurate information.
