In regards to the Pet DNA, we have tried this at multiple communities prior, unfortunately it hasn't been as successful and only cost resident's fees upfront. Therefore, we try to avoid charging additional fees upfront and focus on it at hand. We do monitor as best as we can, however we can't prevent it all the time. Referencing appliances, we do provide quality stainless steel appliances in all apartment homes. In the event that an appliance needs service, our maintenance team always do their best to diagnose the problem and resolve. These freezers are very common for the ice maker to have an automatic shutoff to prevent further damage, this can be caused by the door being slightly open or the tray not in the correct position. Although, I don't know your exact challenge with you, if you could please contact us and I can make sure to have this remedied immediately. Lastly, the inflation is market wide due to the economy. Inflation is not only in the rents, but also the companies cost to maintain and manager the community, ie: utilities, supplies, contractors and etc. I hope this information helps provide some insight.
