Riviera at Fleaside would be a good marketing term. That&rsquo;s the one I use when talking about the community to friends and acquaintances. The place is filthy. The fire alarms went off one night, but only on the lower floors. My daughter and her young children above never heard it. We had to go back up and get them. The open pool is usually filthy. The other pool that was supposed to be converted to something useful by this fall remains a cesspool.  There is black slime in the plumbing. Pet hair lines the hallways. The staff are smarmy and snarky. The elevator has broken several times.

My wife and I have lived at Riviera since February, 2016 and love so many aspects of this community. The biggest perk is being five minutes from Isle of Palms beach.  Dogs are allowed off leash in the early mornings so it&apos;s easy to take our pup for some early morning exercise (for the dog) and coffee (for us) before work. Another great perk is being within walking distance to a grocery store (Harris Teeter), Target, and a half dozen great restaurants (Thai Basil happy hour is the absolute best; 5-7 every night including weekends).  Riviera&apos;s apartment buildings and town homes are spread throughout the Shoppes at Seaside shopping center... I think there are a total of eight building in all. There&apos;s also a barber shop, salon, massage envy, and veterinary office all within the community. Aside from the short drive (or bike) to the beach, everything we need is right here.  Riviera also has two pools, a clubhouse with billiards table, and a complete fitness center (machines and free weights).  Utility costs for our one bedroom are very low.  They also don&apos;t require you have cable service or use a specific provider (when we looked at other apartments more often than not we found this was a requirement). We&apos;ve called maintenance twice during our six months here and they confirmed our request and addressed the issue within 24 hours.  Oh yeah, and valet trash/recycling five days a week is so nice!

I have absolutely loved living at Riviera at Seaside and hate to have to move.  Ed and the entire staff has been amazing.  They went over and beyond what was expected to make sure everything was running smooth behind the scenes to prevent any issues for residents.  

The location is not only convenient to 526 but, Riviera at Seaside also offers a quick drive (5 mins max) to the beach, shopping, restaurants, walking paths, pools, game room and a welcoming community with friendly neighbors. 

Lastly, my apartment was gorgeous.  From the granite counters to the stainless appliances.  I will miss living in such a beautiful space.

My work vehicle was ordered towed via direct message to a towe company and I stopped the towe truck driver Who showed me a message that indicated my specific vehicle be towed ( while in a proper parking stall) for an apparent PREVIOUS parking violation a couple days prior which is against the law and is actually stealing or in a better words theft I confronted the management about this which they admitted it and then Kate retroactively told me that nobody had ordered it towed which was a complete lie because the tow truck driver showed me that message And I believe this to be a vengeful act of spite on their behalf.. on a separate and more urgent note my personal challenger srt8 vehicle was completely disregarded painted over windows drawn blocked in items propped on Iâ€™m gonna leave it at that and let the picture speak for themselves the damage caused by a crew that had minors under 12 years old 100 feet in the air painting on lifts .. after that when I was finally contacted and given some form of resolution I was told to get an estimate I got the estimate then I was told to get a more professional estimate which I provided them and in fact showed them and told them I was getting them a lowball estimate that I would actually participate in meeting him halfway and incur some costs only because Kate at the time was very professional and I appreciated her responses then Kate replied to me that I needed to go out and have the work completed to restore my vehicle only at which point would she provide me the amount suggested I told her that was unacceptable and I asked that she go ahead and take care of that obligation initially and it was up to me at my discretion when I would get the work done however I was told that she was going to and that greystar was actively going after the construction company in order to pay me for damages and to compensate to which I said OK in that case here is the full amount and provide her with the detailed estimate because if the construction company was going to be responsible than they should 100% be responsible and not myself as I was only being amicable because Graystar was being what I thought was proactive since then I have not heard anything from Kate I have multiple messages with no response Iâ€™ve had urgent messages Iâ€™ve sent emails and here I am looking like a complete fool if anybody has any similar experience please contact me ASAP

Lied to and ignored 

Fantastic place to be, close to everything with a remarkeable walking trail park right across the street. Food, yoga, wine, sports pub, community events, right centrally located to all main roads. Sure stuff happens-it&apos;s an apartment community but the staff is outstanding & responsive. SUPER maintenance & great clubhouse....down the connector to the beach or down 17S to downtown..I love it here!!!!
