Unruly children
This is a beautiful complex. Maintenance responds quickly. My only complaint is unruly children. They have a play area for children to play but the children in our building continue to play outside of my windows. Kicking the balls hitting windows, running up and down stairs. Management has sent out memos etc to no avail. If you work nights and need to rest during day or if you're a senior citizen like me and enjoy peacefulness ....maybe this complex is not for you.

Excellent Experience!
[Incentivized Review] I am really enjoying my new apartment at Haven Pointe! The move-in process was seamless, and the staff made everything so easy. The apartment is spacious, modern, and has great natural light. The amenities, like the pool and fitness center, are an added bonus. Plus, the location is ideal: close to shops, restaurants, and more. Highly recommend this community for anyone looking to live in Carolina Forest!

Review of Haven Pointe
[Incentivized Review] Moving into Haven Pointe at Carolina Forest has been a great experience! The apartments are modern, clean, and well-maintained. The staff is friendly and quick to help with any issues. The community feels safe and welcoming, with plenty of amenities like the pool, gym, and dog park. The location is perfect—close to shopping, restaurants, and just a short drive to the beach. Overall, it’s a comfortable, quiet place to call home and glad we settled on this one.

Wonderful new establishment!
[Incentivized Review] As a first time mover the process was a breeze to get by. Let me give yall a rundown on the location before you decide to move. Currently there are two entrances/exits to go in and out. Its located by a neighborhood and school on the back end and a neat gas station at the front. Despite having only these two points of entry, it's pleasantly easy to get out of there. From there you can either access Grisom Parkway or 501 with ease by taking left or right. Furthermore the anemities are quite pleasant with round the clock maintenance/trash services. Staff is incredibly professional and are highly cordial with tenants. Finally there are the residents as im sure many will want to hear about. Haven Pointe has some of the most respectful residents I have seen on my search for a new home. Often times the residents can be rowdy or troublesome. At haven pointe? The rules and regulations are routinely enforced to discourage any behavior of the sort filtering out many future applicants who will prove issues into the future

[Incentivized Review] We leased with Haven Pointe in October 2024, with move-in scheduled for December 14th at our request. We were told the unit would be vacant by early November. A week before move-in, we asked for a walkthrough to plan furniture placement and avoid delays since we had movers scheduled at 8:30 AM on move-in day. Makayla, the leasing consultant, said the unit wasn’t ready and denied our request, asking us to return on December 13th. On December 12th, we contacted Makayla and the property manager, Britni, but were told maintenance was still working on the unit, and the walkthrough could not happen until 11:00 AM on move-in day. This forced us to reschedule our movers, thankfully to 11:30 AM. On December 14th, we arrived at 10:30 AM for the walkthrough and were shocked at the state of the unit. It was filthy: food debris in the fridge, microwave, and dishwasher; caked grime on faucets; dog and human hair everywhere; mismatched wall paint; unrepaired holes; dirty doors; and a moldy HVAC filter. Lights were out, there was water damage under sinks, and a cigarette butt was left on the balcony. Maintenance changed one light and claimed the sinks weren’t leaking but didn’t replace the other bulb. left sitting in the closet. The cleaner, struggling with a language barrier, did a quick wipe-down and left. Later, we returned with movers to discover a strong wet dog smell, forcing us to clean cabinets and counters ourselves instead of unpacking. On December 16th, Britni agreed the unit was unacceptable and not move-in ready. She offered a $500 Visa gift card and a gift basket as compensation, but we felt at least one month’s rent was appropriate given the situation. She promised a deep clean, repainting, HVAC and floor cleaning, and movers to relocate our belongings to an empty garage for cleaning access. On December 19th, cleaners discovered cracks and holes in the bathtub. We informed Britni, but instead of responding to us, she texted the cleaner. My boyfriend, who works from home, had his day disrupted to accommodate the cleaners. The next day, movers, scheduled for 2-4 PM, arrived at 11:45 AM without notice, attempting to enter our unit without permission. Thankfully, my boyfriend was home as maintenance let themselves into our unit, endangering our pets. They moved our belongings to a shared, smoky garage instead of the empty one promised. Later, we were told painters would arrive at 7:30 AM the next morning, with only 14 hours’ notice. The painting process took six hours, disrupting our Saturday. Promised corporate calls never came, despite follow-up with Britni. After holiday travel, we found someone had accessed the garage without our knowledge, and movers still weren’t scheduled to return our belongings. Britni became increasingly rude and dismissive, falsely claiming we refused the $500 gift card. On December 30th, multiple vendors arrived, disrupting my boyfriend’s workday again. Several stated they weren’t informed the unit was occupied. As of today, we haven’t received a resolution or heard from corporate or Britni. Britni refuses to take accountability and seems to blame us instead. Offering to release us from the lease is not a solution, as we shouldn’t have to endure another move due to management’s negligence. At least one month’s rent is the bare minimum for the stress, wasted time, and inability to fully move in for three weeks. Haven Pointe’s lack of professionalism, accountability, and communication has been deeply disappointing. We will continue advocating for fair compensation for this unacceptable experience.

This is my first time living in a communal environment in a long time ( I moved from a single family home), and I am so glad I chose Haven Pointe. You are close to everything, but not in the middle of everything. It is set back off the main road so it is quiet and peaceful. The whole staff is friendly, helpful and have made us feel so welcomed and comfortable.
