Lived at the park for 1 year and am happy to be out of there.  Leasing office is friendly when you tour the property, after that forget it.  We had problems with a hot water tank breaking and flooding our living room and one bedroom.  They replaced the tank, but not the carpet.  They simply brought fans in and ran them for 2 days straight.  The carpet had a musty smell and several &quot;bumps&quot; which ran the entire length of the living room.  &lt;br&gt;  We also had a terrible problem with bugs.  Spiders and termites were commonplace.  We called to complain about the termites and the office responded &quot;It&#180;s just that time of year, but we can try to send someone out to spray if you&#180;d like.&quot;  GEE, my bathroom is overrun with termites, I guess if it&#180;s not too much of an inconvenience you could send someone out!&lt;br&gt;   In my opinion the mgmt office is very unprofessional.  Phone calls go unanswered and they don&#180;t make you feel welcome at all.  The apartments are becoming run down and there are much better deals out there.  Look somewhere else, you DO NOT want to live here.

I&#39;ve lived here for many years and for the most part have had very few problems like those mentioned here.  I haven&#39;t seen any brown recluse spiders (very few spiders at all in fact&#44; but I live on the upper floor).  Things can change from one year to the next&#44; including the types/ quality of residents living here.  Summer is when you really get to see who your neighbors are- for better or for worse.  Over the years&#44; the pool area (the big pool)can help a potential resident get an idea for what kinds of people they  might have as neighbors since by law&#44; the leasing staff can&#39;t tell you who is living here.  If you are considering this place&#44; drive through on a summer night on the weekend.  Hopefully&#44; you won&#39;t see the kind of idiots who would cause the pool to shut down for everyone by pulling a stupid prank.  SEE ATTACHED PICS.  I&#39;m sure they thought it would be hilarious to take the furniture from around the pool (which is still fairly new I think) and put it all in the pool.  It has kept the pool closed on a nice August day so that none of us can use it&#44; and the maintenance staff will have to pick them out when they come in the morning&#44; which is a real waste of their time too.  In a previous summer&#44; someone put an entire potted plant into the pool and it was closed for several days.  As I try to decide whether a $70 dollar rent increase is worth staying another year&#44; it&#39;s things like this that make me hesitate to do it.  We&#39;re now paying high-end apartment rates for low class living.  Of course&#44; the people who do this stuff may not even live here.  That&#39;s another problem with the pools and fitness center:  people that don&#39;t live here come in and freely use the amenities that we&#39;re paying for.  The fitness room recently got brand new equipment&#44; which is great because they all have their own tv&#39;s&#44; but it&#39;s only a matter of time before people (residents or not) trash those too.  There used to be just one tv and a remote in there&#44; but the remote got stolen so many times&#44; that you had to get someone in the office to change channels for you if you wanted to work out to something you want to watch.  The fact that there are so many people coming to ruin our stuff is a concern&#44; especially if they live here.  It&#39;s really too bad that such low class people care nothing for other people or the property.  I put that I would recommend these apartments&#44; but always do your homework.  Don&#39;t trust what any leasing staff (here or anywhere) says.  Go on your own and see for yourself and ask people who live there.  If you can afford to&#44; rent a house. 

Staff was very friendly and helpful with the move into the apartment. Grounds kept clean and well-maintained. The staff has answered questions that I have had. Access to the interstate is easy. Would recommend this to friends and family.

I really like this apartment complex. The 2 story limit, the beautiful entryway especially when the trees are flowering,  the beautiful landscaping, 2 pools, a small gym but well kept, laundry on site, a car washing station, and even a tennis court. The apartments are spacious and have fireplaces. The exterior has recently been repainted and the parking lots repaved so the complex looks fresh. They also allow pets with no restrictions but do have limits. Complex has a dog park and several dog poop stands with trashcan. It's a little expensive though especially for singles. Great deals for move in but expect an increase in rent every time you renew.

I love living at The Park! The maintenance team is AWESOME and so are the office team! I always feel safe inside my home and of course am cautious at night. Having the security company and Neighborhood Watch makes it easier to get out and returning feel more comfortable. My area is usually very quiet and very pleasant to live.

So far, my personal experience has been ok. The complex has had some crime which I believe is just an area issue so can't fault MAA for that. I have not had any real issue since living here but minor complaints. First being the laundry rooms. The dryers are always broken which is frustrating. Also, the fitness center equipment (treadmills) always malfunction and I can't finish my workout. People who don't pick up after their dogs are not harshly dealt with, so people continue to do it and there is usually dog poop everywhere.

Sariaha was the Leasing Associate I dealt with and she was, hands down the best leasing agent I have ever dealt with win my entire life. Very informative and helpful. Professional and polite.  Took plenty of time to explain every thing about the unit and community.

First and foremost, if you have a pet, do not rent from this property. They will charge you full price for the carpet replacement (Even though you have paid the pet fee [$300] and continuous pet rent.). On moving in, I had issues with my door latching, I had to request twice over my first week for them to fix the latch on the door. The first time the maintenance person just put in different screws into the latch and the door wouldn&apos;t close period. After they finally got the latch to barely work, I had to request for 3 months for a bar to secure the sliding glass door (provided to other apartments, just conveniently missed mine?). They do a &quot;background check&quot; on potential residents. The background check only checks for your name and birthday, so be warned if you have a generic name. This background, income, and credit check, though, seemed to have not been needed for my neighbors upstairs. Having 5 people living in a 1 bedroom apartment above you for over a year was Incredibly fun (Sarcasm is definitely intended). Despite repeated complaints of fire hazards (throwing lit cigarettes into the bushes below) or having to listen to the lovely 2 AM screaming matches outside of your window; I&apos;m glad to see that background check and credit check totally did it&apos;s job. Maintenance is competent of anything that doesn&apos;t require something past the bare minimum of work. You cannot trust them to check the dog bags (something that you&apos;d assume the Pet rent and Community Fee would be covering.) In the winter, you will be facing walkways that the maintenance team (nor the Property Manager/Assistant Manager) will salt or clean. During all of this, you will be given the excuse of &quot;Our team is very busy right now&quot; and effectively be on your own. They will (after 10 months of badgering them to finally do it.) Replace the front door that was not working properly! It still will have a gap you can see through on the frame, but they (as the assistant property manager was very big on telling me) did replace it!. They&apos;ll insult you the entire time, but they&apos;ll replace it. They use the &quot;Smart Home&quot; system, and will go into your apartment (sometimes it&apos;ll tell you that they went in.. sometimes not). Sometimes the doors will lock (It definitely wasn&apos;t doing it right on ours but I think that was the door itself.) As stated previously, They will charge you for the carpet. This wouldn&apos;t be an issue except they&apos;ll try to pass off some carpets as being new and will charge you the full amount of it. Can&apos;t really change that, so just be prepared for those &quot;hidden fees&quot;. Pest control... It&apos;s kind of lackluster. Spiders will still get into the apartment without fail, and I would still have the occasional roach appear (Always in the bathroom tub though. Mostly because the giant gap in between the Shower/tub insert that was improperly placed). I had to request multiple times for them to caulk holes and gaps that they never did. The Area is nice, though trying to leave during the summer is a nightmare due to Old Hickory being jammed by people wanting to get to the lake. The lake nearby is great with great dogparks though. The Complex grounds though.. The &quot;car washing station&quot; is a non working vacuum and a hose. Worth the community fee. The Dog park is a strip of ground that, while fenced in, is kind of a joke considering the amount of usable land. The Grills are always disgusting, and that includes the &quot;nice&quot; ones at the pools. The pools are alright and the &quot;fitness center&quot; has some nice machines but limited. The Laundry rooms are lacking. The one next to the mailbox was always having busted machines that never were even looked at, even when the laundry room had a busted pipe. The one next to the office was better. This is probably due to the adjacency to the office though. Now we come to the Office. Sariah, Vanessa, and Bryanna are great. They will try and help you, even though they are limited by the maintenance and managerial staff. Management, however, is lackluster. I would have to send multiple requests in for fixes, only to get excuses.
