The people in the office are friendly and nice. Maintenance has improved over the past few months with a change in personnel. However, am forced to pay for cable TV whether you even have a TV, which means you have to set up a separate account for Internet and pay at a higher cost because the TV isn't counted. Additionally, we have had rent increases of $50 every year and nothing to show for it. The first year we were told that they would be replacing all the older air units, but that has yet to happen. Incidentally, if you move into an apartment with an older unit, expect your heating and cooling bill to be exorbitant - - we fortunately had the old one die on us and our bill has dropped by at least 60%. This past year a neighbor was told that all the windows were going to be replaced (they had frost on the INSIDE of their windows this past winter) and that this had already been contracted...well, here it is 6 months later and no sign of that happening either. The dog stations are not tended to regularly as more than once we've had to inform the office they needed attention - emptying as well as bags. We resigned our lease only because we could not find a place of equal price and rating. We will be leaving as soon as we can afford to. In short, expect to pay $100 over the rent price for the cable, garbage, pest, water, and electronic statement as these are NOT inclusive of the rent. Oh, there is a nonrefundable pet deposit as well as a monthly pet fee.
