Very nice place to call home. it sometime hard to reach the office people, I have tried calling voicemail and texting Jeff several times and he said he didn.t get them. But boy put in a maintenance request and you get immediate help. They are the best!! e

The apartments are in a central, safe location but our of the way of major traffic. You would never guess the apartments have been here longer than 3 years...everything is updated and maintained. We have singles, couples, families, and pets with plenty of space for everyone. Parking is never an issue and the gate makes our community extra safe. The office staff is quickly responsive and the maintenance team is the best in Knoxville. Rules are enforced, so it's safe and clean. Quiet, clean, safe, convenient!

Wonderful Environment & Staff
We have nothing but good things to say about Walden Legacy and their staff! Tami, Jeff, and Mark have always been so friendly and helpful. It has been great! I have no regrets except the sudden rise of rental fees after the pandemic. Maybe there could have been a more gradual increase for long time residents. I do want to make up anything so I will stop.

The community has been great for the most part. There are lots of amenities, the management is generally responsible and helpful. My biggest issue is the lack of parking and the need for a bigger dumpster or more frequent trash pick up. We receive notices about not leaving trash outside the door, or on balconies yet they allow bags to pile up outside the dumpster multiple times a month.

Everybody that works here are very helpful on any area. They listen to my concern or issues and address them immediately. They are all so friendly. The maintenance department is nothing but excellent. I like my apartment and plan on staying here.

Everyone at Walden Legacy when I first toured was really nice and really helpful. This was good because I had toured the complex probably three months before I could even move, so I was worried they wouldn't reach out a tell me when there was an opening. Alas, they called me and there was a place available that I was super interested in and they were able to help me secure it. They're very reliable, and are always willing to help. They organize events within the community, which I did not have at previous complexes. All the neighbors are nice and quiet, and there's never any issues. Very great place to live.

BLACK MOLD
BLACK MOLD----These apartments feature a locked utility room within each unit. The utility rooms houses the A/C air handler and the hot water heater. This hot water heater leaked for 6 months without anyone knowing. That is until mold showed up on the A/C vents. When the closet was unlocked by management it was completely covered in BLACK MOLD. The managers Jeff B and Tammy said the mold was a non-issue. Once pressed they said they would fix the mold. Their totally safe solution Ć¢ā¬ā They painted over the black mold! This also led to multiple 30,000 gallon and one 80,000 gallon water bill. Electricity also averaged 2000KW a month ($200+ each month) for 2 people in a 2 bedroom apartment. Tenants were laughed at when they confronted Jeff B. Regarding the response below: It would be great if this response was sincere. Corporate (Highmark, who owns tons of apartment complexes throughout the US) has been in the loop since Nov 1. The sad truth is rather than address the issue, they threatened to sue and evict when this review was posted. Apparently rather then embrace TN tenant rights law its more equatable to attempt to scare tenants into silence.

Don't live at walden legacy the office staff I particular are very rude and don't treat the people that live here as if they pay their salaries and more of a bother to them. My lease was done wrong multiple times just very unorganized you can get nicer places for the same price in Knoxville.

The community is immaculate and organized, with staff taking care throughout the whole year. The garages available for rent are enormous for the price. My only observation is the wood deck between floors, making it easy for you to disturb your neighbors or be disturbed.

I love this complex, I've lived here going on 3 years in 2 different floorplans. Tami and her team are absolutely excellent, top notch!!!! Can I give more than 5 stars? They certainly deserve, because they go above and beyond every day! My life went through huge changes between renting the first apartment and moving in, and they bent over backwards to help me and get everything exactly the way I needed it, and have taken excellent care of me since then!

It's very convenient and quiet the majority of the time. Pool is great. Area is looking good. Parking still bad but all in all pretty nice place to live very convenient but pricey with everybody else

Beautiful property
Walden Legacy offers a lovely pool surrounded by woods, 24 hour gym ,resident Cafe and a large dog park. The spring is so pretty when all the dogwoods bloom. Great neighbors and location gives easy access to Knoxville activities and shopping.

The complex is very nice and clean. I have been staying here since 2020. The pool is beautiful and relaxing. My grandchildren love the park and play for hours. Itās a hop, skip and jump anywhere in Knoxville and surrounding areas.

Overall our experience has been fair. The noise from neighbors is incredibly loud and you can hear people just talking from the apartment above you. The community is cleaned and all public spaces are upkept.

Nice staff, nice neighbors, good area. Not many amenities. Small gym and pool. Not enough parking. Can hear every footstep of the people above you pounding through the apartment. There is only one trash compactor for the whole community so be ready to carry your trash up or down the hill, and it will frequently be overfull so trash will be piled up on the ground.

We lived there for several months while looking for a home. The staff were always friendly and helpful. A shout out to Marc! We were very happy with the efforts the staff made making us feel welcome, planning events and keeping the grounds clean. Thank you.

I love this community! These apartments are great! They have random little events for residents to win prizes and they have food trucks come here! Maintenance responds so quickly! Even at 8pm when the office was closed they emailed me back with a problem I was having and fixed it right away the next morning! Iāve lived in many complexes before and this one is so far the best. They even have a playground and a dog park! Staff if very friendly. Overall, very comfortable and safe living here!

Kim in office is rude and hangs up phone. Screams. People cannot get in gate even when they punch in correct code. My name has been removed and visitors cannot find me. She is so rude and horrible. Spiders and bugs galore. Do not recommend this place

Noise: Noisy - I could hear my neighbor snoring to give you an idea on the insulation of the walls. You will hear your neighbors. Maintenance: Awesome - you will have no issues getting your apt. serviced. Parking: Terrible - you will not get a parking spot after 6pm. Staff: Great when your happy, HORRIBLE when you have an issue.There is one woman on staff that will yell at you for giving her a cupcake. No ability to handle her job under any circumstances. She looks like she is always ready to jump off a bridge or karate chop you. Awful mouth. Mean. How she doesn't get fired I have no idea. She could get Mother Teresa cursing in 0-60 seconds. Pure talent in offending people.

This is my second apartment here, first didn't work out for me. I like the one I have now, it has been remodeled and is quite attractive. The staff went that extra yard to make sure I got a place to my liking. Honestly, I can not say enough good things about the staff. Am buying a Town-home next year, but if I wasn't would be happy here. Thanks Walden Staff!

It is a nice area, but my apartments would be quieter if it was on I40 during rush hour. Management unwisely removed carpeting and put in standard (not insulated) pergo style floors. Problem is that the noise level is now "outrageous." When my upstairs neighbor walks on the floor it registers 75.8 decibels in my apartment. There is no way to conduct a normal life with that kind of noise going on. It is my neighbor or the floor? I would rate the floor as most of the problem although their wearing hard soled boots does not help. This is intolerable and must either move to an upper unit or find some way to break the lease. Oh, they also have an electrical outlet screwed in with wallboard screws with a 1" gap between it and the outer wall. A safety hazard to be sure. Thought this would be a nice place...WRONG!

If anyone is still looking for apartments, I would highly recommend AGAINST living at Walden. Their prices and fees are overpriced, their response time is delayed (they hardly ever pick up the phone when you call), and their management is some of the worst I've seen. Not only are they rude, but they have zero respect for your time, don't apologize for making you wait, don't give you your packages on time, and just overall don't appreciate you as customers. This on top of their unkempt "gym", hidden fees, lack of parking, loud sounds in the morning, and constant attitudes from the staff, I could not wait to get out of my lease.

Very neat cleaned and professional staff, everything is well-kept the pool area is very nice. All of my neighbors are very nice, just wish there was a dog park. That's the only issue that I have with water might se that's the only issue that I have.
