Originally it was very promising and welcoming so my roommate and I decided to apply for this apartment even though it was slightly more expensive than the other one we were interested in. However, as soon as I was approved I was told the deposit would be 125 and that they were going to 'get us into an apartment'. I then didn't hear from them for a week so I emailed them questioning the apartment number and an estimation on the numbers we would owe on move in. I didn't hear back. So I called but was sent to voicemail and after three more emails with no replies I started to get worried as it was then a week before I was supposed to move in and I needed to get MGLW turned off and power switched on and my cable turned off and so on. I wasn't *too* worried though because I figured it would be fine once I moved in and paid the down payment and didn't really need to deal with them anymore. Finally after calling three times in one day I finally got someone and they proceeded to tell me that my deposit was actually going to be a months worth of rent on top of the regular dues. A months worth of rent. 1133 on top of 1133 and all of the other dues. I had to scramble to find that much money in under a WEEK and they had no explanation to give me for this. On top of that, before we applied when I went to visit I was told the cable and WiFi charges were optional which was nice because my roommate and I don't even own TVs to use cable but guess who found out two days before move in that those things were actually required now? Me haha. Finally the cable and WiFi lmfao I'm so sick of it. I wasn't informed on what I had to do or that people were having issues getting it set up until literally right before I moved in but I was assured that if I had any problems I should let them know and I would get put on a list. I was put on the list and promptly forgotten about because I called three times throughout the next week, leaving voicemails, and I was never called back. I had to call twice the following Friday for someone to answer and finally tell me that I was supposed to call Xfinity again in order to get this stuff set up and now I won't have the boxes until NEXT Friday. Guess who has school projects and work they have to do on their computer but can't because hmm oh yeah they don't have internet!! Me! All I can say?? At least the AC isn't a window. If I have a better experience after all of this blows over then I'll update but I am in low spirits right now
