This is my first experience living on my own in a new state. I was wanting a 1-bedroom apartment that was in a safe neighborhood and close to work, and still at a good price. Other places I looked at were gated or in more upscale neighbhoods, but were also more expensive. This place is not gated, but I got a good feeling from the place by the well-manicured landscaping and the availability of staff. I also didn't have a car on the first few days, and it was helpful being able to just walk across the the road to Kroger's and tropical smoothie cafe. They have other stores and studios nearby like hot yoga and dance lessons for socializing. Met some of my neighbors on my move in day, and they were friendly yet kept to themselves. Feels safe to live here!
