Beware! Not a good place to live!
I would strongly caution anyone considering living here to fully understand the fees, maintenance standards, and overall management practices before signing a lease. Our experience was extremely frustrating, largely due to excessive and questionable charges. We were charged $500 simply to move two doors down within the same complex because it was within a month of our lease ending. On top of that, we were charged $700 for a carpet stain that was not visible from the surface and did not penetrate the padding. Additional fees continued to add up. There is both a monthly pet fee per cat in addition to a $300 per cat charge, neither of which includes carpet cleaning at move-out, something that feels misleading given the cost. Separately, we were charged $190 to resurface a very low-quality oven. These charges were not minor and they felt excessive and unreasonable, especially considering the overall condition of the unit. Maintenance and property conditions were equally disappointing. It took nearly a month to repair the air conditioning, and when maintenance finally responded, we were told the unit was undersized for the townhouse and that replacing it did not fit the budget. The garage door would randomly open on its own, which raised safety concerns. The deck boards were visibly rotting, yet only a few were replaced rather than properly addressing the issue. The kitchen flooring was also deteriorating prior to move-in and was never repaired. There were also serious concerns regarding safety and professionalism. On one occasion, maintenance tried to enter the master bedroom to check a smoke alarm while my girlfriend was in the shower, without appropriate regard for privacy. Additionally, we were pressured and given a strict deadline to vacate the property when we did not immediately pay disputed charges, which felt unnecessarily aggressive. Community upkeep was consistently lacking. The trash compactor was frequently full especially on weekends. Pet waste was often left throughout the property, and the dog park was poorly managed, with constant barking and little enforcement of rules. During a winter ice storm, sidewalks were not cleared for nearly a week. We were even told that we were responsible for clearing ice from our own porch, which raises concerns about safety expectations and liability. Overall, this property charges premium fees without providing a matching level of maintenance, accountability, or care. Between the excessive charges, delayed and inadequate maintenance, and lack of professionalism, this was not a positive experience. I would strongly recommend asking detailed questions and reviewing all policies carefully before committing to a lease here or considering alternative options altogether.

Just hope your air conditioning doesn’t break
My grandson’s air conditioning failed on July 4. Maintenance came and installed 1 window unit in his 3 story apartment. Bedroom temperatures have exceeded 80 degrees. Management has refused to provide more window units but told the repair part/s “will be ordered next week.” They refused to cannibalize the necessary repair parts from a vacant apartment. Customer service is definitely lacking.

Phenomenal Living
Living here is a great experience. The buildings themselves are unique and in good repair. The attached restaurants and amenities make the experience even better. The neighbors are generally friendly and trustworthy. But all of that is nothing compared to the quality of the staff. The ladies in the front office headed by Raven are over-the-top friendly and helpful while maintaining a top-tier professionalism. The maintenance staff comes into any problem you submit with a fast and furious can-do attitude with integrity and quality in their work.

daily decibels and mountains of dirt ?? ?? ?
This is a short example of the constant, months-long construction happening daily, with no apparent end in sight. This has been going on since May of 2022 and consistently begins as early as possible and goes late into the evening.

If you move here, look forward to having to crank up something equivalent to "Sweet Home Alabama" volume level on a regular basis in attempting to mentally escape the surrounding sounds. Can't get out of here fast enough. Want peace or quiet??? Run FAR AWAY from the LC. Or at least to the other end of it away from this never-ending construction mess (should be a video attached, if not stop by and see the joy of what has continued on for 6+ months for yourself - TBH the video is flattering compared to just how incessant the beeping has become). Imagine that you are hearing a tow truck every 2 seconds for the rest of your life. That's what the inside of these walls are like. Every day I curse that I am stuck here. Exteriors can be deceiving. NOTHING DROWNS OUT THE NONSTOP BEEPING. Close units should have been offered a relocation. Noise pollution makes these COMPLETELY UNFIT for habitation, I would rather rent a tiny studio space somewhere. And to echo another review, YES you will hear WAY more of your neighbors than you ever needed to. Oh, can't forget there is almost NO storage. No ceiling fans either and the temperature upstairs and downstairs will feel like two entirely different units. PLUS for as long as this crew has been "working"...there is no actual building to even yet show for it.

I am an international student and my name is Ali. I like this community, and I will renew for year and half with them. Thank you LC Murfreesboro. They have a great group of staff and they can help me to fix anything. I think this community is the best one in TN. Also, when my friend asked me about the community, I already recommended to them to come and have the best experience with LC.

Honest review: it was nice when we initially moved in, but some really rough people are moving in now. People with loud cars who drive wild, have parties on their balcony, and just trashier people in general are filling up the place. I would recommend a different area, especially for how much they charge in rent. Rent is far too high. LC is extremely leveraged with debt and they are going to face a rent crisis in the next couple of years due to the coronavirus recession. They will likely go bankrupt.

Worst place to rent. No parking for residents. Goat customers are treated better than the LC residents. Lawn care is awful, not kept up. The staff does not address your concerns at all. The hallways smell like dog urine. Residents smoking weed and staff does nothing. The Goat is more important to the LC than the residents. Goat workers, customers and volleyball players get parking before residents do. Worst place to live. Dont rent from the LC.

My son actually lives here. Every thing is ok. Parking kind of sucks, he never gets to park in front of his building. He had an issue with his dryer for a month or so before they got to it. My biggest complaint is how much they charge to go to month to month. After being here for a year I feel they should let people go month to month without raising the rent 300 dollars a month. He got a job in Nashville and is going to move up there with a roommate, but he cant move for a few months. I think the complex could accommodate him for a few months. Most apartments I have lived in let you go month to month after a year.

These apartments are definitely impressive looking from the outside. I love The Goat and the nice pool. The staff has always been super friendly and awesome! However, the inside of the apartments can be questionable. For one, our unit doesn't have closet doors that match up so nothing really closes correctly. Whoever built this place also left glue or something in the toilet bowl so it looks always dirty. No lights or fans because apparently we should provide our own. Carpet is laid very poorly. There isn't a lot of storage space and the utilization of space is very odd to me. Also, the trash service is awful with lots of odd rules. There is a car parked in the parking lot that literally hasn't moved in two years plus one our neighbors is always working on broken down cars and taking up more parking spaces. We have been here since they first opened and it was really great for awhile but our needs are changing and with the rising rent, we had to find something with more for our buck. It is seriously a really cool community thought. I recommend if you want a different sort of living experience.

Living at LC Murfreesboro has been an experience for sure. After 5 years of living at this apartment complex, I think I can give you a true review of living here. If you are looking for somewhere quiet to live, this is place for you! I've absolutely loved living here. The staff is incredible, especially Jessie. Anytime I've ever needed anything, she has always been there to assist me. Thank you Jessie! I loved my townhome apartment. It truly did not feel like a traditional apartment, but more of a home. Landscaping is always upkept. Amenities are very nice. Apartment interiors are standard and a value for what you pay. Overall, I'd give LC 5 STARS!

When I moved here, it was my first time out on my own and started college. This was absolutely the best complex to start my journey in. When I first moved in, I faced some construction issues but maintenance came asap. When anything needed to be fixed, maintenance would come that day or first thing the next. I came home to a flood on night from my washer becoming uneven during a wash, maintenance showed up at 11 at night to fix it! Moving into the environment, it is beautiful. There is no trash and dog poop is hardly seen. They keep their grass cut, gardening up to date, and enough light to walk safely at night with your dog. The noise was never an issue. I could occasionally hear my neighbor run up and down the stairs, but that was it. Once in a full moon you would hear someone or a dog outside only because they were loud. The pool is extremely nice, along with the volleyball court. The pool was a great place to hangout with friends and meet people. The Goat is also easy accessible from the pool and volleyball court. I had a town house set up, it had two bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The layout was convenient enough to set-up your living room and bedrooms how you wanted. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. There was always someone at the front desk and answering your phone. Never once heard their voicemail during business hours. The only thing I didn't like was having a stackable washer/dryer. My unit had one but many do not. Make sure you ask about the unit if you do not like stackable. Also parking was a pain! The Goat brings in a lot of outsiders during the summer and special events. Parking would overflow into "resident" parking. One night I had to park three roads down. However, I lived on the same road as The Goat. May not effect further down streets as much. Trash pick up is at front door, which is very nice. If you are a college student, moving out on your own for the first time, or just moving, this is the place to be. Everyone is friendly and you start to become one community instead of strangers.
