Worst place I’ve ever lived

Was forced to clean splooge off the walls when management wouldn’t do anything about it. Then they tried to charge me for carpet replacement. Absolute worst place ever. The halls were even filled with dog poo constantly. My truck was stolen from their garage when the gate was broken- the gate was always broken.

I’ve lived her for some time. Riddled with roaches. Terrible management.

Every day I find at least one roach in my apartment. Despite my efforts in letting 101 center resolve this I’m forced to spray ever day to prevent roach infestation. The restaurants beneath the tenants are riddled with bugs. They make their way into your home despite everything. Discusting place to live. Overpriced for one studio inlay 1400 a month to live amongst roaches. ?? management will continue to nickle and dime you for absurd reasons. I hate it here. Do not move here.

Do not Rent here! This place has been nothing but trouble... in the year that my Son's have lived there my Son's car has been towed twice!!! And to no fault of his own. After contacting the office to get this take care of the statement was made "well we sent a newsletter, he needs to update his information". A news letter!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME. MY Child now had towing fees and lost wages and they don't care to fix the problem, this has happened twice. I have reached out to them to try and resolve this matter but they are not willing to solve this matter so now I am forced to sell legal action.

BELIEVE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS!!

Do not pay attention to all the fake reviews from people who only took a tour here but never actually lived here. This property has had 5 DIFFERENT MANAGEMENT COMPANIES in 3 years. Things are ALWAYS broken. And not just small things but like BEDROOM LIGHTS THAT THEY WONT REPLACE (and you can't replace them yourself bc they are specialty lights) and THE ELEVATOR is always broken. I have no idea how anyone with limited accessibility could live here. ALSO, the Security is ALWAYS DOWN. You're supposed to have a key fob to enter the building and a garage opener to get in the gate but EVERYTHING is ALWAYS BROKEN so just anyone can come in. There was someone SLEEPING IN THE MAILROOM last week. For a downtown apartment, this lack of security is inexcusable. ESPECIALLY WHEN IT IS A PART OF WHAT YOUR RENT COVERS. OH! and good luck getting anyone to respond to your emails. or phone calls. or be in the lobby DURING OFFICE HOURS. It is managed by a front office of 20 year olds that have no ability (or care) to change anything. DO NOT DO IT.

DONT MOVE HERE

This was the worst living experience I’ve ever had. Poor management - and I mean very poor management. Paying for parking is a scam because the garage is always full of people who don’t pay for parking so save your money and don’t pay for it. This is also a instalment lease, so I paid for the whole month of august when they delayed my move in for a week and was only in the apartment for six days the month of August. This apartment complex does NOT care about it’s residents. These apartments are overpriced and in poor condition. I’d also like to add I had to clean my own apartment after move in was delayed. I got there at 10 AM to move in, I didn’t get into my apartment until 10:45 PM. I wish I never moved here and I’m so ready to get the hell out of here

The fire alarm goes off at least once a month randomly, the hallways are filthy & staff can get rude. I have work orders that are still open that are months old and no communication on when they will be resolved, so I'm moving at the end of this lease instead of renewing like I was wanting!

If you choose to live here I hope nothing ever breaks or goes wrong because it WON'T get fixed for severely too long. Apartment flooded during the storm and it took them 3 months to be able to move back in and the repairs STILL weren't finished. But instead of continuing to live in a smaller apartment than we were paying for we just deal with half-assed painted walls and plaster splattered everywhere. Currently on day 4 of no hot water after being reassured every day that the gas would be turned back on that day. The new manager quits ever 6 or so months and the front office staff is always changing and never seems to know what's going. This place is terrible, the best I can say is it's a roof over your head and a relatively safe place to sleep.

Staff doesn’t leave consistent notifications on emails when something major happens in the apartment, maintenance is very poor takes months to get a response and result. They seem to look more for ways to fine you instead of ways to improve the apartment.

This apartment complex looks very nice but is probably the worst living experience I have ever had in my life. All the amenities were dirty (pool was disgusting and the gym was nasty esp during covid), staff were rude and always looked annoyed. Trash rooms overflowed until the door couldn't close anymore which resulted in a fruit fly infestation and of course, they got into my apartment and the surrounding apartments and didn't die off for months. The garage was filthy and the gate never worked so it was a very unsafe environment. I moved into a 1 bedroom apartment but was only shown the beautiful 3 bedroom showroom due to "unavailability". Even after calling multiple times afterward to see a 1 bedroom model (I would have even been ok with a photo at this point) I was told no. The one-bedroom apartments are not a part of the air-conditioned main building and I was not made aware of that until move in. Please consider living elsewhere

Never in my life do I sit here and write reviews, but this has to happen. This is probably one of the worst apartments I have ever lived in. All they care about is your rent money and find any way to charge you. The apartments are filthy. They refuse to show you you're actually unit before moving in or signing a lease. No answers. I've tried countless times to try to speak to a manager he doesn't reply to any email. I've had homeless people try to get into my apartment before. Supposedly this apartment has security doors. They key fobs don't work anyone can just go open the door. The whole building smells. It's just an all-around bad experience.

If you don't mind loud music through all times of day and night, this might be the place for you. But if you value having a place to come home that is quite and respectable, this will not work for you. Working from home has been a nightmare with the music that can play from noon till after midnight. Even with calling the police these people have no respect for community living. This is just not a community that students live and that should be communicated. I wish I had never opted for a poolside balcony. I had rather not have the views than dealing with constant headaches from the disturbing music. Management has failed with enforcing their quiet hours policy which is stressed in the lease contract. This has been outrageous and exhausting. The apartments itself is nice but not at all worth it if you can't enjoy being here.

Run!!! Do not rent or sign a lease. The management sucks and the amenities are bad. The living conditions are bad. Some rooms do not have ventilation and all they care about is your rent! Surroundings are dirty and no one really cares.

101 staff is great overall. There have been significant improvements to the level of maintenance, management, and the leasing team. Every time there is an issue, they are quick to remedy or to at least give you an idea of when the issue will be taken care of. You just have to be patient!! They are people just like you and I! Anyway, awesome team. Keep up the good work. And give us a hot tub already for the love of God! Thanks guys.

I liked my apartments before but the last few months, the pool has been disgustingly filthy, they haven't been keeping the grass or bushes trimmed. Roaches been by the pool and around the outside of the apartment amenities. Before it wasn't like this idk what happened but I want to move now. Im paying $2000 a month and low budget apartments keep up with their stuff better then this.

Lived here since building opened. Garage door doesn't work, hallways and stairwells are filthy. Lights burnt out in hallways, trash rooms need to be power washed so we don't track garbage and germs back to apartments. Fine people that leave trash out and let dogs pee and poop in hallways. No movie channels since Dish has been fighting with hbo and Cinemax. Have homeless getting in and living in stairwells. Been through three management companies and no one has hired more maintenance. Seems like we have all African American staff except one white woman. No men and all staff from before have quit under new management. I don't care the race at all, but someone got all previous staff to quit and they actually helped people. I'm frustrated and people say move, but I like my place and I'm disabled veteran. Moving almost impossible.

I would never recommend this place to anyone. Maybe it will be some improvement under new management but previous management ZRS Management is dishonest, greedy and disgusting I lived in the apartment only for 3 months and they charged me for complete renovation. Scumbags

Overrated and overpriced. Don't even bother renting here. Everything used in enticing you to rent is absolutely a fluke. Can't wait to leave! I doubt they are going to improve. And the electric bill is ridiculous!

Alyssa, Ryan, and staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful. While visiting a friend to take graduation pictures, we asked for their help and they were more than willing! The lobby and rooms are very spacious, clean with a nice modern design. Definitely better than previous management.

they refused to show me the unit I was moving into instead they reluctantly showed me a bigger beautifully furnished and quiet unit.That should have been a red flag but against my better judgement I went ahead and signed the lease. When I moved in it was something completely different the door to the unit is not even inside the building but outside like it is in a cheap motel and the balcony is overlooking a noisy street with a busy train track. The doors are not sound proof at all the traffic feels like it is passing through the apt. Had I seen it I would have never signed the lease but I guess they knew that and that was why they refused to show it to me. I consider my self taken for a bad ride and a long nightmare my advice to others is to stay away or insist on seeing and inspecting the same unit you are moving into.

Don't do it. If you like yourself and want an enjoyable living experience this is not the place for you. 1) Management is horrible. 2) No one seems to follow the rules of the lease. Or even know what they are. 3) Dirty hallways and common areas 4) Security is nonexistent. If you call, they won't answer. 5) Even the final bill was wrong. TWICE. Oh, by the way. The pet deposit is just for sh*ts and giggles. It doesn't really go toward anything. Not pet damage or repair. They just keep it. It doesn't get taken off your final bill. I was basically told this by several people over the phone. I don't think anyone knows what they are doing. Or maybe they don't care since most of the residents are college aged and have no experience. 4)

This is one of the worst places to stay at. The management team is very unprofessional. They have no source of business ethics. We have been waiting for the pool for over a year now and it is still not ready. We are paying for useless utilities for no reason. Do not recommend staying here. They are full of lies.
