..worst apartments

we moved in here around june. When I first saw the model apartment it was gorgeous! the floor was nice the cabinet fixtures were beautiful...i had to move here. So went back to the office to finish the paperwork and the guy told us that someone would call us and let us know if we were approved..being my first apartment i figured that that is what normally happens. Had to call a few days later to see if my paperwork was being processed and was asked to come in. Was helped by a lady named anna, she told me the guy was from an agency and was no longer with them...when we went to sign the lease, she MADE us sign everything first and then told us what we were signing..according to her -"it was just easier that way" we moved in and everything was fine...until we heard the music that BLARED from a few buildings down...every thursday and friday. The light outside of our building is broken and it makes parking at night feel very unsafe. I had to buy a tube of mace just to feel a little safe, and i had left a complaint about it at the office about a month ago. Maintenance is ok. We had a broken stove when we moved in and these weird things growing out of our freezer. They fixed it right away, but because my mom raised hell about it, She told them we would not move in until it was fixed...or they had better give us a discount for the next month because we were paying for something that they were not providing. TODAy..we had our car broken into..they got a ------ stereo so no big loss there, but our drivers side window was broken, so thats something we have to replace..we stopped someone that worked at the office and they told us that the apartments dont do anything about it, and that they have about 4-5 car burglaries a month. last few things, our doors shut all the way but there are huge gaps around them so bugs crawl in. I woke up around 3 am one night and there was a big black roach trying to crawl in through one of the cracks. and the security here..all he does is sit in his van all night..no kidding.. these apts suck, for the price you pay you can live somewhere better..dont live here.
