I moved into and apartment just about 2 months ago and it has been nothing but pure insanity. When we first came to tour we were shown an upgraded apartment of pristine quality, at an affordable price. When we moved in a couple months later, I learned that wasn't the case. When we moved in there were roaches in every cupboard and cabinet, both living and dead. I asked to have the apartment sprayed AT LEAST 4 times, and no one ever came. I ended up spending about $100 on anti pest methods out of my own pocket to get rid of them. The toilet wouldn't flush, and it took them two full weeks to come fix it. The garbage disposal didn't work and stunk like someone had used it since the toilet wasn't working. There is black mold growing from a leaky window in the bedroom and in the bathroom shower. There is no door sweep in the living room so when either the heat or air is on it does no good. The dryer vent had and still has a blockage although they claim it was fixed, at one point I was told to "just detach the vent from the wall and use it as a heater". The upgraded "granite" counter tops are NOT granite. They are faux and simply spray painted. The upgraded brushed steel fixtures are cheap and look it. The "upgraded appliances" are also cheap, but I can't imagine what the regular ones would be like. The apartment above me got the door kicked down in broad daylight. There is a drainage problem so every time it rains the whole place is pretty much flooded. There was a shooting across the street. The window are barred shut on the first floor so you don't get robbed. Everyday I hear one of my neighbors having a domestic dispute outside. I hear sirens all day everyday. I have lived in two different apartment complexes before sutter creek, and I have NEVER had so many problems. I hate this place and I am counting the days until I can leave. I also plan on telling everyone who will listen how awful these apartments are.
