HORRIBLE APTS....DO NOT LIVE HERE!!

I moved into Sutter Creek Apartments in January of 2008 and I was also shown an upgraded apartment wih good quality and affordable price. The first day we moved in the carpet smelled like wet dog and still does, the hall door for the W/D was broken, the dining room window had a leak and we've been asking since we moved in to fix it and still hasn't. The bathroom tub has a leak so water gets everywhere. I also upgraded ONLY the appliances and they were suppose to be installed before we moved in and it took them a month and a half to get them and at that we the NOT its just a cheap fast easy way to cover up all the broken and damaged stuff. Not even that my friend moved a few months ago cause her friends boyfriend was shot and killed in the parking lot. Some apartments... Oh and the rat problem is gross. I've never seen them in the house thank god. But you can hear them in the walls day and night and they're not little noises either, plus you can hear them squiking all the time and its gross and embarssing when you have guest over especially at dinner time. Not even at that the last 2 times i had to pay rent I paid through the night box which I rarely do unless necessary but they charged me late fees both times when I've paid on time and everything. But because the failed to find my check when rent was due I was charged with late fees. My word against theirs so I had no choice but to pay EXTRA money that I SHOULDNT HAVE had to pay for just because they couldnt find my check. So in my opinion I would advise anyone and everyone not to live here its horrible and just the apartment itself but the management sucks as well. They might seem all nice at first because duh you are leasing but once they got you...they treat you like crap.
