I usually don't write reviews but sutter creek pissed me off!!!!! My husband and I were supposed to move in on 11/14/14 and when we originally viewed the upgraded apartment we loved it! We were told that all of the upgraded appliances came with the apartment that we were going to lease that's the only reason why we were willing to pay extra to get the upgraded kitchen and closets. We were all ready and packed ordered a truck and all for move in but before we signed the lease we asked to see our apartment that we were moving I to bc we had been so busy during the week and working past there business hours. So she shows us our apartment and it was completely different from what we were told that we were getting! We were F****g pissed!!! Because that's not what we signed up for, the only reason we were paying extra is to get the upgraded apartment and we did not receive that. Also when we first turned in our money order that ask for you to have a separate one for the app fee and the admin and deposit because if you get denied you the other two fees back. We didn't want to move into sitter creek due to us not getting what we were told we would get when we saw our apartment and they denied our admin and deposit she said she talked to her corporate management and they said NO they will Not refund the two fees that we were told we would get back. It was just one big run around and very disappointing because we are from Michigan which is 18 1/2 hour drive and we were really looking forward to calling sitter creek out new home... Yeah that was a huge mistake even going there. I wish we would have never wasted our time honestly. Also there "excuse" was that some lady Marie or whatever her name was must have showed is the apartment the first time and they said she was from another complex and may have gave us false information and that she doesn't work there all the time. My question is why the HELL do you have someone on the floor that doesn't know what they are talking about??? People are living here, signing year long leases that is very unprofessional to have someone saying one thing and some else saying another. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE NOR WILL I EVER GO BACK.
