My experience with the management in this complex has been the worst of anywhere I have ever lived. It started before I even moved in. They told me the wrong amount to give them a money order for (it was off by like $0.60) and they threatened to evict me if I didn't bring them the difference in a money order within a week of me moving in. So i had to pay for another money order for their mistake. Then a few months later I tried to pay in their online system. I got a receipt in my email that said it was paid and everything was fine. Then I come home to a note on my door saying that they were giving me 2 days to pay up or they would evict. Not only did the payment apparently not go through after I was told that it did. They added on late fees and NSF fees, which they told me they could not refund the extra fees even though this was their error. (it was like $200 extra). Not only was the manager incredibly rude and unhelpful he had no explanation for why the first I was hearing of the problem was on the 7th through an eviction notice when I had a receipt stating that I paid on the 27th of the previous month. They had over a week to notify me that there was an error without it having gone past the due date, but they did not.
Other than management this complex is full of problems. There has been a shooting outside my building (like so close the police wouldn't let me move my car all day because it was in their crime scene). The neighbors are loud and inconsiderate.
The actual apartment I haven't had much trouble with. The space is great and there's always hot water, which is nice. Also maintenance is really on top of everything. If you put in a request they come fix it the next day almost always.
Overall, I thought the price was good for the space and I can deal with living in a sketchy neighborhood but the management here is so horrendous I wish I had listened to all the bad reviews before moving.
