Out of all the apartments I have lived in, I would say this apt. complex is the worst one by far. The construction here is pretty bad in the sense that the ceilings and floors are thin; you can hear and feel everything the neighbor above you does. If you have an inconsiderate neighbor like I do, living above you, you will hear tons of stomping and your ceiling will rumble all the time.
Getting help from the management office with the noisy neighbors has done nothing. They simply listen to what you have to say, agree that it stinks, and promise to do something- but they don't do anything.
Getting them to fix anything is a pain as well. When the exterior light outside my building went out, it took them a month to fix it. I had to constantly call and remind them over and over. My AC unit broke down in June and I put in a service request. They came out 5 times over the course of 2+ months and kept saying "it's fine, there's nothing wrong with the unit". This was incredibly annoying as I was sweating in my apartment at night dealing with a broken AC. After being on their asses over and over, they finally had an actual AC company come out and check it out and they said the compressor needed to be replaced. This means one of two possible scenarios occurred for 2 months: either the apartment's maintenance people weren't skilled enough to identify the issue or they did identify the issue and just didn't want to fix it.
I will definitely be moving out of here once my lease is up. You're definitely not getting what you pay for at this apartment complex and it's very frustrating.
