My wife and I have been living here since July 2013. The first week in, we were broken into...on the 3rd floor!!! Thank God for renter's insurance. So this complex was just taken over by new management in May of 2014. It was originally called Landmark Double Creek, but the sign recently changed to "The Landing at Double Creek". The original office staff was excellent for the most part. Special shout out to Chrystian! He was always very helpful and actually listened to your concerns. Since the new staff has taken over, I am not at all impressed. Here's the main issue: Came home today (6/5/14) to find a notice to vacate stuffed in my apartment door. It states that they have not received my prorated rent amount for the month (moving out on 6/26/14). I handed that check to the manager myself on 5/31/14 along with my forwarding address! The check posted on 6/3/14 for that amount and when I viewed the check on my bank's website, it even had a stamp stating "Received 5/31/14"! I can understand that this may be chalked up to human error, but come on! I mean this office jumped straight to an eviction notice and did not even think twice. I'm really hoping someone in the office is monitoring their reviews, because I would love a phone call very soon about how we can resolve this issue. Sincerely #538
