A friend directed me here due to some amusing responses (I will have to thank him for that!)
Anyway, I think the apartments are decent enough. I have rented in may states/areas and while I wouldn't say it's "luxury" they are new which is nice. The office staff, women included, are all helpful. I have to agree with the doggie "bombs" left around the area....I have encountered a few....and whats sad is they have bags for residents yet they cant seem to use them. I have had to call to have a few things fixed and they are prompt and nice. Agreed that the utility bills are low in my mind, but I moved from the north and it's much milder down here (till summer anyway). The computers in the office do always seem to have issues as does the coffee machine. :(
As far as the whole $400 gift card, everyone is entitled to their view/opinion about it. I am coming up on 2 months here and dont have one yet and they seem in the dark as to when the second "check request" will be here. Am I annoyed? Yes. And if someone wants to base their first impression on that....who am I to tell them they cant be upset! It's in my lease so I will get one....trust in that!
So far clean, decent, and beside I-35 traffic, mostly quite.
