I didn't think management could get much worse than the last people, but I sure was proven wrong. I made the mistake of renewing my lease in June and on the first month's billing of the new lease they tried to charge me more than what I signed my lease for. They also tried to tell me I owed for June's prorated rent because the person who calculated everything made a math error. I make sure and get a receipt every time I drop off a check now.
The halls look like someone was murdered in them. There is so much crud in the stairwells it is ridiculous. It took forever to convince them to come sweep and power wash. Of course it was a half-assed job so it didn't help much. There are also wasps nests in the stairwells so I suggest if you are allergic like me you don't so much as walk to the garbage without an Epi-Pen.
They have put multiple notices in the doors about dog poo but they do not enforce. As a dog owner who cleans up after their pet I understand this is a hard thing to enforce. But maybe they should take that $10 a month pet rent they get from me and every other pet owner and hire a dog poo service like most other complexes in the area. That's usually what the charge is for. Guess they decided they would rather spend it on their new "The Landing" signs. A new name really makes this place that much greater! *rolls eyes*
There is also construction on two sides of this complex and the interstate on the third. I personally enjoy the sound of heavy machinery at 6am on a Saturday. Plus, the giant pile of dirt outside my window is waaay better than that ugly bluebonnet field that was once there. Take that nature!
And I most definitely could not end this review without talking about the parking situation. If you like driving around the lot in circles for 10 minutes, this is the place for you! It gets better though. In an attempt to help those of us that pay rent to live here, management has decided to make Visitors Only spots and tow those of us who provide them with revenue if we park in one. You go management, way to stick it to us entitled residents!
