As a long time Austin resident I've lived in several properties from Downtown Austin, to East Riverside to know South Austin. I've moved into Landmark Doublecreek(The old name) when it was still brand new and the staff was completely different. My experience with the previous staff was less than impressive after I moved in. I always felt like I was bothering them and was just "someone who paid rent", thank god that changed last summer. The new staff had some rocky moments and I will not lie, I questioned whether they were even qualified for the job when they first got here. Looking back and reading previous reviews I see that the new staff had an uphill battle to correct alot of the items the previous company forgot about.
Now my biggest complaint is parking. In the beginning this was not an issue, but as the property grew, spaces became less and less. There were nights when I'd come home from work(I'm a bartender) and there wouldn't be any spots available. This was beyond frustrating, especially at 3 or 4 in the morning. The new management got a new tow company that was an absolute joke and I'm not sure who they are using now but the parking issues have seemed to stop. I also hope that the construction next door ends soon, since I work late nights I need my sleep during the day and those loud noises are getting a little out of control.
